    Many thanks for the video.
There was plenty of good advice and I certainly learned a few things from it.
Keep up the great work and stay safe,
    Joe

That type of sizer will resize the head AND the skirt to 4.50. I use same scales weighed 20 tins of 4.51 FT's in 3 batches, 9.72 (2½ tins)

Would that sizer work for slugs?

How do you get on with the scales for accuracy? I’m struggling to find a decent set

They are fantastic, all you need to worry about is making sure I air is blowing on it ( including your own breath ) and not to many electronic devises near it as they will make it flutter about

Doesn't the barrel in your gun size the pellet. Think about it

They can also mis shape them, if you the full set of jsb 4.49-4.53 you will see some fit better nicely some will be loose or tighter fit

I have thought about it lot. Head sizes vary in any tin of any pellet, I shoot H&N Baracuda FT 4.50 through my Walther LG400 FT benchrest gun. I currently use a Pelletgage to check and get a range of 4.50 to 4.52 pellets with the odd 4.49, I also weigh. My thinking is the small ones will run through the barrel with less friction than the bigger ones resulting in a small reduction of velocity. OK, very small but in benchrest a variation resulting in a 2mm change in poi can mean losing the 10X and coming 2nd, it's not like FT/HFT where you have a 2 inch target and even clipping can result in a knockdown. Even if there is nothing in it a lot of target shooting is psychological and if you can take away any small nag it helps. I also agree that the pellet sizer used will size the head which is more important than the skirt which will expand when it gets kicked up the backside with a great big high pressure bump. Not boasting, but I'm currently in div 1 of the Hendon postal national comp so I do have some experience.

With your scales I bet if you weight the same pellet 3 or 4 times you will get 3 or 4 different weights

There not to bad, key think is to make sure there now elections near it as it can effect it

It's the head size that's more important than the skirt. The skirt is thin and ease to deform in the barrel, the head is not so easy. Imagine a 4.50 head and a 4.53, some 4.53 tin marked can be 4.56! The tin size is head NOT skirt

I don’t worry to much about that to be fair just weights

I got a set of these scales today to replace my 20 year old set (The LCD leaked and showed black)
    New scales... Utter garbage.
    Doesnt weigh anything.
    Wont calibrate
It just sits there with a pretty blue LCD saying 0.0000
Im waiting to see what the seller has to say.
My last batch of 8.4gr JSB's was truely aweful..
24 tins washed, dried and weighed.
I collected 453 pellets that weighed 8.4x gr out of 24 tins!
