He is a brilliant angler. But he does have a massive edge, he has the best swims reserved for him. I was on manor farm down linear in august. Bailiffs were constantly coming round finding out which swim is fishing the best. They put a cone behind the one that was producing. It was being reserved for tom. He never shown up. Im not saying anyone can do what he does with this massive edge, but he wouldn’t catch as many fish without it.
@@MrEgan1985 I think you may be getting confused mate as I never actually fished manor in august 👍🏼, I had scheduled filming booked on for for oxlease but that was the only work related fishing I had for that month. Infact that was my only session in august

Im not discrediting you in the slightest, you’re by far one of the best anglers out there, if not the best. But you don’t just turn up and fish random swims that are empty. You have an edge joe public will never have.

THE way to get that bait together and sink it to the bottom you can learn from thepeople catching small fish.You mixture up these particules and worms with wet clay to flat disks. Together with the baited hook you let them sink down from your canoe or boat, now it is all close together, much cheaper, no artifical addditions. On a canal you can do this just fromthe place your standing if you fish your own shore, believe meit is simple and save, no shipsto cross your lines either and you will never need more then 60 meters of line
Just thought of a new series for you Tom/fox/ monster parti... Tom seem to get a lot of people saying he’s had swims and stuff prepped for him etc etc .. so that’s why he catches the fish.. well you should let one of these so called top carp angling keyboard warriors fish 24hour matches against Tom see how good they really are! Tom is one of the only anglers I truly listen to. He is the true "thinking" angler - not really seen much these commercial days.

I've been on this water handful of times and it is bait boat City I've seen five boats out patrolling at once a bit like the M25 for bait boats lol🤣
Like them or not, some people need them on these waters, it's very weedy and you are mostly fishing at long range.
