I honestly don't understand why this story gets such a bad rap. I've always loved it, too. If you don't know, Paul Cornell (Father's Day/Human Nature/Family of Blood) wrote a sequel to this story for Big Finish called Seasons of Fear starring Paul McGann. It's quite good, too.
@@nialldemarshwell5566 Yes, definitely inspired by the legend of the Minotaur. The Doctor and Leela even compare the inner complex to a labyrinth, a complex maze of corridors where the Minotaur resided.
@@harrynewiss4630 D'oh! I was thinking "Lalla Ward's Romana" and those bloody Ls somehow tricked my stupid fingers into typing "Leela" instead. I sure look like a schmuck!
Seeing this story with updated special effects really completes the great journey of life for me. The Nimon be praised.
The Horns of Nimon is one of my favourites. I had it on VHS, but never on DVD.

Brilliant as always, I love that moment when the Nimon beam passes straight through that guy.
Great job👏 I especially like how you adjusted the CSO entrance to the complex.
Tom what a legend you are!
Absolutely superb effects 👏 Love the Nimons death rays truly formidable.
I love it! Do you think Soldeed could dissolve(ST III style) as he sinks "I'm melting!"
Can you do one with new performances?
Wonderful new effects
Great work fella - thanks for sharing as always.🎉
How I wish I could watch this on my season 17 boxset
Fantastically awesome!
Awesome and Spectacular and great
I never understood this story. The Nimon are talking wolves, but for some reason they have horns. Since when did wolves have horns?
I thought they were based on the Minotaur. Half bull, half man.

A story that had some nice ideas but really appalling execution. Nice job here.
