    Didn't even realize Kershaw made traditional knives thanks for making this video. Great Commentary Excellent video!

      Thank you! There are three knives they make, the Gadsden trapper and the Culpepper Barlow. They are named for American Revolutionary War battles. They are cool knives.

    My only fault with mne is the heavy thickness of the spine on that narrow clip point blade. It makes it very wedge shaped not slicy at all.

      Yes, the stock is thick on those blades. I guess they were going for a beefy feel to the knife. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with the Brandywine.

    Is it worth buying this knife in jig bone? (60 eur) Will it be rare with time? (maybe discontinued?)

      If you like jigged bone, I do, then it’s worth it. It’s a great stockman. Yes, eventually it will be discontinued. Will it be valuable in the future? Who knows. I have some knives that I bought years ago that are worth good money but at the time, I had no idea that they would become valuable.

    I like the stockman pattern. As a matter of fact I have a Case medium stockman in my pocket right now.

      Right on! I need to get some more stockman knives, that is the pattern I am lightest on right now. Thanks for coming along on this journey, I know that you will enjoy it!

    I prefer carbon steel bolsters as opposed to the brushed stainless

      @RJsKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the nickel bolsters are my favorite, followed by brass. Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it!

      Why in the world would you prefer carbon steel bolsters?

      @@norby0418 Because I like the way they look/wear after years of use.

    You said Kershaw was more known for their Flippers and EDC knives. Why can’t the Stockman be an EDC ? For that matter don’t many young guys carry a “flipper” for edc?

    • @RJsKnives
      @RJsKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are right, most young guys know about their flipper and modern style knives. I was highlighting the stockman as a great edc but made by a maker they might be more familiar with if they are brand conscious. Thanks for commenting, I appreciate your feedback!
