Leia with CLS, Crex, R2, and Drogan absolutely smokes both Malgus fights (as well as every other proving grounds match -- 3* on all of them if you save her ult to revive near the end or get 2 ults).
Looking to get my Levi after Jabba. Already have the revans and can do the conquest nodes -- and not having to do 2 exec mirrors a day in fleet arena seems awfully nice.
Thanks, a lot of players don’t have Leia. I’m sure there are a ton of options, but only a few new player friendly options.
@@CaptainAmazing_swgoh Fair. I did her as my first GL and feel good about it -- troopers into exec into her has me in a very good spot quite fast -- but I can understand that she is low on a lot of lists.
Important: you can can take your leviathan to 5 or even leave it at 4 stars, and use it on offense. I didn’t take it to 7 stars for around 4 months. During that time, I took it on offense in gac or fleet arena to do mirror matches, or beat another team with it, and used profundity to beat leviathan if my sith fighter was slower (R7). You can win a 4 or 5 star leviathan against a 7 star one, as long as you have a faster sith fighter.
If you are a lower gp player, it’s probably best to max it and slap it on defense for wins, but if you’re median sized or larger gp player going against players with leviathan counters, you can probably wait a bit

I just have the big problem that I wasn’t paying attention to fleets for a long time so I’m sooo far behind everyone else in my arena… I’ve just unlocked the possibility to unlock malgus I have SEE but no GL ship. I have mostly concentrated on Sith in my account (Darth revan and malak are already R7) so would you recommend to farm leviathan? I’m not 100% sure so I would love to get some advice

What is the team you need to beat malgus teir with slkr?
JKL, hoda, revan, malak, slkr is what i use
You can google my guide, but I used SLKR, Malak, Thrawn, Kru, FOST.
Earlier this week I discovered a way to RELIABLY 3* Malgus and his ship in PG using SLKR without Malak. Team comp is SLKR lead, Old Daka, NS Zombie, Merrin, and Darth Nihilus. I do not have SLKR's basic or stagger unique zetas, and I only have Merrin's Magic Stealth zeta. The only other zeta was on Daka.
My SLKR is r8, but he could be lower for this.
Daka: r5, Zombie r3, Merrin: r4, Darth Nihilus: r5.
The only thing you have to manage is the beginning when you defeat the first two Sith (Drevan and whoever gets Deathmark next). You want to ensure none of your allies ever get Deathmark in this phase. You take out DRevan, then either Talon, Bastila, or Assassin needs to get Deathmark. Take out whichever one does, and you're set from there. Malgus and the last 2 Sith will enter an Infinite Loop of attacking Zombie. They will be one-shotting Zombie, who will infinitely revive and taunt. While they are stuck in this loop, you just wait for Nihilus' cooldown to finish, and then Annihilate Malgus. Then repeat cycle for last two. Nothing will hurt them except Nihilus' annihilate, even if you ramp SLKR's siphon to the 1000s, due to their stacking Dark Ascension.
Use Merrin's Magic Stealth for timely cleanses and a revive if Daka somehow goes down. Use Daka's revive if Nihilus or SLKR go down, which may happen from Talon's AoE. Even if Daka doesn't revive them first try, just keep waiting till she can try again, and eventually she'll revive the non-nightster allies.
It's NOWHERE near as hard as it may sound as I write all these details. Try it out a couple times till you get the Infinite Loop of them attacking Zombie, and you'll quickly see how easy it is from there.
If one of your allies gets Deathmark before you Annihilate Malgus, I'd recomend restarting, because you won't be able to revive if they get taken out.
This team can 3* every single Proving Grounds, including Tie Interceptor, but for all the non-Malgus ones, switch out Nihilus for Assaj. I beat Tie Interceptor, Malgus, and his ship for the first time this week, and I 3* each, plus I went and 3* all the other ones using SLKR and all Nightsisters.

I'll share my speed stats too, so if you want to completely copy what I did, you can. The TM order might matter for the first two Sith that get Deathmark and none of your allies getting it, so might as well share my speeds since I know they worked.
SLKR: 555
Old Daka: 201 (modded for Health. Health is 100k, Prot is 47k)
Zombie: 196
Merrin: 164 (I have no speed on her due to her kit. She's modded for Protection, Tenacity, and Potency. Prot: 72k, Health 53k, Tenacity 147%, Potency 151%)
Darth Nihilus: 259 (60k health, 57k Prot, 105% Tenacity)
I’ve done it several (well 5 now to be exact) with the standard SLKR setup, using Captain Amazing’s strategy for the interceptor. KRU lead, Hux, SLKR, FOST and Sith Trooper; all at SLKR unlock reqs. It’s hella RNG dependent but I’ve done it 5/7(?) times that it’s been available. Search for his Malgus Proving Grounds video and it’s the one with Interceptor and Malgus. I even commented on that video first time I beat it (this year).
