- On a trip to Winston Salem, I made it my goal to film some of WMs fleet. I didn’t know exactly what I was gonna find because I knew they recently went CNG. I was hoping for an Amrep because they demoed one, but this is just as good. Here’s 2 of their 520 CNrG Pythons. WM does recycle for the city. Recycle days usually don’t coincide with trash and yard waste days. I found 3 of these total, but only filmed 2. Enjoy!

That arm moves out faster than any Python I’ve used

Interesting. I just saw this type of truck pickup my trash today. I can appreciate the technology and labor cost savings. But, I also realized that this was another employee/job being replaced by a button. Time moves on I guess....
One arm bandit garbage trucks have had tragic accidents. One picked up the scavenger and dumped him to be crushed in the compactor.
I kinda want to make a first gear version of this now....

I love these! They look especially good with CNrG tailgate and Think Green logos imo. Really happy these came as Pythons and not ZRs. Pythons seem to run really well when they're new lol. Great video!
I knew you’d like this one! I also like the look of the CNrG on these. Usually not a fan of the CNrG but these make them look pretty nice. Me too, but I would’ve preferred Amreps ;) these newer pythons have a more beefed up arm, so hopefully they’ll run like this for a while. Glad you enjoyed!
They are great trucks, especially with the packer, but the tipping angle on this unit seems unreasonably low. Awesome job documenting it with the forrest in the background!
I saw a WM 520 Python a month ago but it was Diesel. In South Carolina too.
