Sir you just went to the top of my list of Flat Top channels that I watch. I have been watching 3 channels the last few days, being new to the flat top community. Waiting on our griddle to be delivered, so we can get started. This is a recipe we have on a somewhat regular basis here at home. I love the smell of the kitchen when we have this. I do all of our outdoor grilling. Indoors we spilt the kitchen cooking. I’m always telling my wife that this meal reminds me of walking down a midway of a festival, race or flea market 😂. My people. I seen this and it made my morning. I totally love your channel. I subscribed on the first video I watched. Sir your presentations are above and beyond. Your personality is amazing. One of my favorite meals. Simple, tasty and many ways to cook it. If you're feeling fancy, throw an egg or two on it. Last weekend I showed a couple newbs how to make this in foil packets over the fire. Used some of my venison keilbasa. They loved it.
I microwave my diced potatoes until they soften up about 80% of the way and then fry them in a big cast iron skillet and I think it tastes even better and saves some time also.
Going to make these up today, but cooking for two, so I will be throwing it on our cast iron skillets! So excited to practice cooking more thanks to your videos!
Add some eggs on the side and there ya go!!!! Maggie wants her share!!! I also tried your Heiffer dust and it is awesome!!! I put it on my chef salad I made, and I also add it to my soups.
@@thehungryhussey I’m not a fan of white rice, I just think is bland and blah. I got some rice from my Chinese take out…DUDE!!! I just put some of the fiesta seasoning on some of it…GAME CHANGER!!!!❤️❤️❤️

I gotta question. Having a new deck built. I had the griddle on the ground plan on putting it on the deck. Was wondering about grease splatter. Should I put something down so it doesn't stain the deck.
If using a Mike Rowave before cooking on the griddle is a hack I should have bought a microwave years ago….. wait never mind. I’ve been doing that for about 5-6years now……

I like adding ranch seasoning mix and paprika, then some cheese on top when plated😋

For sure you should. Mistakes happen, etc, so I bought a mat to go on the back side of the griddle and on the front side too.
