Always love your tips. Being self taught, this is how I always created components. I didn't even realize there was a tool bar button for that. I guess in my case not knowing paid off. ;-)
Thanks Brad. I wish fusion had an option to create a new component automatically on the opening of a new design. It is typically recommended that the first thing to do at the start of a new design is to create a component. Something that when in a hurry is easy to skip. Wish fusion would have a preference toggle to start a new component on open.
Why not make a video of how to reorganize a project into components/subassemblies after several bodies have been created? I always find that to be hard.
Thanks! So, Component Names can obviously be "empty" (no body associated); Can you also choose a body and give it a component name by using the same function and just choose "from body"? Also, love that you used McMaster Carr hardware in that assembly lol!
