Mercedes 190D Turbo om602 part 1

My attempt to fix to good condition my Mercedes 190D turbo 1987
Warm engine sound after pulling and cleaning prechambers, rebuilding injectors with new firad injector nozzles. Still sounds a little loud and uneven. Does this sound like a healthy engine to you? It seems loud, but it is my first diesel project car. I don’t know what they supposed to sound like. If you have similar car with OM602 engine in good condition, let me know if it sounds ok to you. If not, what else should I try?

I hear 2 sounds. 1 or 2 bad valve tappets and the chain guard chain tensioner or something

The little diesel filter is fitted reversed the engine needs more fuel did you change every filters even the one under the fuel tank?

I changed small prefilter and main fuel filter. I didn't change the fuel tank filter yet. Will check it.

What about lifters?

I replaced all lifters. It sounds a little better.
