SAVAGE SEA BASS / LURE FISHING IN MAY

Recent lure bass trip on the east coast. The back end of some big tides the fish got/were hungry. Savage Gear 30g surf seeker most effective here, mimicking its natural food. Water clarity was good for this early, I don't usually lure fish until June! A good fish lost my first for many years...I blame some hooks I had sabotaged from some cheap metal spinners. It was my first lure trip of the year evidently I was rusty, but we had 4 takes and three fish landed. Biggest fish was approx 4-5lb
