Hi Jeremy, love your videos! I bought the Lumix S5ii early this year with the 20-60mm kit lens and am looking to expand my lens collection - I'm mainly interested in wildlife, nightsky/life, travel, landscape, and macro photography (although the kit lens does a great job for close-up photography). Any recommendations in combinations? I'm even considering selling my 20-60mm and grabbing the 28-200 or going for a 24-105 & 100-400 combo (did consider the 150-600mm idea but seems really bulky to travel with) - any ideas for a 2-3 lens kit collection welcome! Thanks
28-200 zoom (with macro), and two f1.8 primes: 50mm (or 35mm) & 85mm That would basically cover everything. You got the zoom for everything (including macro) except extreme telephoto, and the 2 fast primes for portraits
@@Studiotek I've ended up purchasing a Sigma 100-400mm 5.6-6.3 and am loving this lens so far :) not so keen on purchasing primes at this point as I like the versatility of a zoom for the things I'm capturing (mainly wildlife). Thanks for your reply!
Hey there! One question: how much lee way is at the level of lens-body connection with the telephoto lens on? ↔️ Mine has a little wobble, like 1mm, twisting from side-to side on the center axis, but it cannot be separated away, only what the tension springs allow. I am worried about it. Has anybody noticed similar problem with their model? Cheers 🥂✌️
Hello this maybe a silly question! But please help! I don’t know where is the zoom button on this camera , how to zoom with this camera? I have the 50 mm thank you if you answer 😭
There isn't any zoom on a mirrorless camera, what determines your "zoom" is the lens you buy... so for example, your 50mm lens has a "50mm zoom amount". If you want an adjustable "zoom" you'll need to buy a zoom lens that has a range built in... ex. 24-70mm
I absolutely love my S5ii !!!!
I mean its a hybrid camera with a big focus on video specs. If you want more then 24mp wait for the s1r ii
Would you recommend the S5iix over the canon r6 for photography?
Depends what it's for, but for Wildlife, yes
Yes because you’re not locked in to expensive
Glass closed system cartel.
Beautiful camera
Hi Jeremy! Do you like S5II or S1R better?

No. I have the opposite problem... The mount is EXTREMELY tight and feels weird when I mount a lens
I'm amazed with low light performance..
Low megapixal is the reason I guess it can perform good at low light..
Yes the 24MP is a large reason for why it does so well there. The low light on this camera is probably the best I've ever tested!
@JeremyNeipp I've got Nikon Z6ii body and can handle up to ISO 12800.. 24.5 megapixel..
What lens are you shooting with?
Sigma 150-600 Sport or Sigma 60-600 Sport (both newer versions)

How much?
$2,000 USD!
Hi, does it have eye detect? Thanks ✌️📷
It does at least in photo mode! However, the function is hidden, you can see an example of it on my full review video.
Does it use downsampling in 1080p or line skipping?
Thats why?
Amazing for video. Good for photos. More video focused camera model.
Could you do a video on how you have your camera set up for photography?
I’ll keep it in mind!
I love my S5ii, waiting for an S1Rii with that higher MP and PDAF
Well... Maybe this is not the perfect camera for your niche
But that's why what? 😢
I prefer non external focus telephoto lenses,,,Sony...Canon..Nikon all have plenty of internal focus tele lenses. anyway I don't do video...Cheers
