Same story i had a tortie just like her and her name was Simbi(a play on the name Simba) she was ran over by some drunk or high piece off shit and a year later i adopted a same kind off cat who's name is Stuffy and i love her so much.❤😺

Yesterday was our 2 year anniversary, adoption day. I'm adopted but have no such anniversary. Morada is most definitely in charge around here and with good reasons, for the most part (unless turkey slices are involved).
New video from her anniversary party-ish. I had surgery recently, so playtime expectations are running a bit low.

Mine just meows at me and tells me to figure out what she wants and she won’t show me any signs of what she wants. Like do you need water, food, litter to be checked, attention. If all of the cat necessities are in order, I’ll try to play or give her attention and she completely ignores me, and looks at me and meows over and over again, but alas, I love my little baby. Her name is ducky and my step mom got her, and she’s my step moms cat, but she said we can share her affection because we are her favorite people. Ducky is just the best baby

Tortitude is real, at least for my tortie Sable. My friend has a tortie and her kitty had a litter and I got the only tortie she had in that litter.
I have had many cats. But Sable is unlike any other cats I’ve met. She is so sweet to her humans. She knows just how to cuddle up with you in the way you want her to. She is a long haired tortie, even though her mom is a short haired tortie. But she has never been mean to her humans. She just wants pets and cuddles and love.
But the tortitude comes out when she’s around our other cats. She really thinks she’s the queen of the house. Which she is, she’s the only female cat in the house. The other two cats are my Blaze, a tuxedo cat and Sawyer who is an orange cat.
Blaze is an older cat, he’s almost 11. Even so, he has never been a dominate cat. He doesn’t fight back to Sable the tortie. He gets bullied. Sawyer is about 4 years old and he doesn’t fight back much either.
In terms in age, Blaze is the oldest by a few years. Sable is the middle and Sawyer is the youngest. I hope to start playing with Sable more so she’ll stop picking on the boys. I truly feel like she does it out of boredom. She isn’t even really that mean to the boys. She just runs up on them and squats, without really trying to hurt them. Just to intimidate.

I have two Tortis and yes Tortitude is real. My oldest Torti 5 is very head strong and lets you know when she is in her mood. My other one is 2 and she is a terrorist. She will terrorize the house when she feels like it.

The tortie I feed keeps Kosher. If there's any shrimp or pork in the food, she won't eat it. Which is a mixed blessing, because then she won't eat all the food and not leave her brother any like she'll normally do.

Mine looks much like her. My Invana Kilru ( say it slowly) is a furry crackhead. Sweet then snaps in an instant to wild feral. Trains greyhounds to respect cats with a 100 percent success.
