Try DC2. The VTEC in B18C of DC2 kick-in feels so much better than K20A engine, though the DC2 is not as fast as FD2.

I have a fd2, and I have to say it’s the worse family car ever. Suspension is too bouncy, rear seats do not fold. As a weekend toy it’s great.
there's a trade off, if you could only have 1 car, a manual, 4 door... something fast, FD2 really is not bad
