Hello Zlewikk, since you do the danish scandinavian HRE run , you could also try to get the "Neither Holy, nor greman" achievement so you will do a 5 achievement run

We want to increase pur crownland as much as possible, through seize land, conquest and devving. Keeping a bit higher share of nobility is good as that's more manpower while we will use the other 2 sources to decrease it long term for the mission. It's not as high priority as over 20% max manpower from privilage

Keeping control of Sweden while degrading them in that mission is no easy feat. Is it theoretically worth it to wait to integrate Swe/Nor, to abuse the +25% goods produced they give?

The current state of the game is the most fun and diverse state the game ever had. Sure, it’s gotten easier but its more diverse and replayable than ever
After 3k hours, and shenanigans on all 6 continents, I think post LotN Denmark is legitimately the most OP starting nation in the game

i did a denmark campaign a couple of weeks ago and i changed the color to blue when i had the decision to because the yellow is terrible also the flag for the kalmar union is cool

their mission tree seems absurdly broken. perma claims on everything, mana generation on everything, a mission that causes a defensive war against small powers, just ridiculously strong lol
It is a trade war, only peace option in this war allowed, "transfer trade power, money, war reps". So it is a no gain war, besides money....and money should be no problem for denkmark, they can trade company russia and non sweidish baltic (teuts, liv, riga), and polish/lith lands....
so open a trade company there, and you get absurd high income.

I thought Scandinavia was a light blue color? Did they change it like Fars in the recent update, or is this different because you united it as Denmark rather than Sweden?
When formed by Denmark it becomes Kalmar Union instead, it's still scandinavia tag, just a different name and color
9:56 btw, why not take Riga as vassal? (or annex and release) Even without co-belligerent it's not that much AE. And they got some cool mission rewards.
Too much AE + time to siege down a lvl 3 fort while we wanted to attack Novgorod Asap to block Muscovy from soem key provinces. We will make them a subject so no worries
Annex release sadly prevents the vassal riga from completing some of the missions as that would release them as a monarchy
Great run, but I dont get the reason behind the not giving Calais to Burgundy. It was your PU with a possible horse event. Or you could have just transfer the occupation.

It's a bit strange, but I realize that lately (I think the last few months) you've been talking through clenched teeth more often than before. This sounds a bit strange and I wonder where this change came from.

For anyone looking to build an even stronger denmark, integrating norway and sweden is actually a debuff because you lose the buffs from making them rivals. 35 goods, 10 build cost, 25 manpower and sailors recovery, -25 nobility influence and 10 trade efficiency is literally an entire idea group of modifiers. Denmark also gets 25 trade and a bunch of liberty desire from mission tree. And not many know this but modifiers from the unions remain active even if you tag switch. Nearby tags that are easy to achieve and strong are prussia which requires prussian culture and 3 provinces from the teutons and england which is part of your mission tree. You could easily destate denmark, form prussia for crazy ideas, 1 army trad decay from mission then form england for good missions and gov reform and 10 ica from mission. England also gets free explorer and colonist as does denmark so you can colonize without any ideas. If you are not going for emperorship its important to note that diplo ideas are actually a risk because 2 diplo rep might integrate your norway automatically losing you modifiers
Of course it is a debuff initially, but 1. You need to own these provinces for achievement and 2. To form scandinavia which has better ideas and a lot of useful estate privilages from mission tree as well as more iron provinces to be added.
I need scandinavia for another achoevement so everything is focused on getting these :p
I'm fairly sure the shit Danish ruler stats is hard coded into the game, just like how Sweden always just happens to get rulers with 4+ stats in every category. It's a Paradox plot to spread anti-Danish propaganda.
