I am surprised that you have not put any lead tape on the gearbox pro power paddle since some of your other paddles had it
I actually have lead all the way up the throat! I put an edge guard over top though so it’s no visible 😁
You are really getting great at putting your personality into the videos and it's working!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment - doing my best to get my thoughts out on things but still make it true to me and this community 😁 Merry Christmas!

Good thoughts, I’ll get on this right away! Thanks again😁😁
What is your lead set up with the pro power elongated ?
Good question! I had lead going all the way up to the middle of the paddle but settled with 2 precut strips of lead on either side, so basically just on the throat. As it's a heavier paddle, I feel this was a good balance of hand speed and a significant improvement to the sweet spot - thanks for your comment!
Engage with their amazing military/first responder/teacher discount is unbeatable. Saved 117 dollars on the 260 dollar price tag. Paddle is absolutely amazing to. I shelved my vatic pro and haven’t looked back since.
That’s such a great deal! I actually brought out the paddle last night during my league play (this time the ex version) and I was blown away - I think playing with the gearbox has helped me control it even better than before 🙌
I use the DBD mainly rn but have been enjoying the Gearbox PPE a lot!
I have been liking that paddle a lot lately too! A lot of good options on the market right now :)
Six Zero Ruby FTW!!
That paddle looks so great!! Definitely on my list of paddles to check out 😄
Engage Pro is the best paddle for me.
They definitely have made a great package of power, sweet spot and spin. Love how many great options are out right now! Thanks for your comment 😁 which engage are you using??
I play 50+ 5.0 Professional with the Pursuit Pro MX weighted at 8.2 oz.
Nice!!
I also had a similar journey from the Vatic Pro Flash 16mm, to the Vatic Pro Prism Flash 16mm, and the Double Black Diamodn 16mm. I've only tried 16mm paddles so far. What would you say is the advantage of going with the 14mm prism flash?
Great to hear your paddle journey! I mainly went 14mm because I hadn’t seen much about it and wanted to try- I like the hand speed and control, but it does have a little less power. A great paddle nonetheless! Thanks for your comment 😁
No get the flash 14mmperfect all around with pop
@@carlrodrigues6919 but a lot less control
My paddle journey ... Hudef 2.0 (first paddle), CRBN 1 (13 mm) found it too powerful, CRBN 1 (16 mm) still one of the best paddles out there, Legacy Pro (gave up on it 3 -weeks after buying because edge guard came unglued - replacement sent to me after I paid to return it, has same issue; Pickleball Apes PLE and PLE S (these are absolutely the perfect blend of power and control)!
You started out strong! 💪 definitely want to get my hands on the Pickleball Apes PLE line they look awesome!

Im right there with you Jordan...Started with Bird Plikelball Hawk, then Kestrel, then Jumped right to the GB Pro Power EL. Might be a bit much for me at my skill level, as I still pop up too much but I love the serves , drives and even the Dinks, Hand battles etc. but I'm just not super consistent with it , so I ordered the GB Pro Control Fusion, and the Six Zero Ruby. Really want to play with the different ones and try to work my way up after my skills elevate to the GB Pro Power where I can be consistent with it. On the Pro Power EL, I did add 3gms of lead per side at the 4/8 spots and that helped a lot with the twisting in hand on off center shots.
Thanks for your comment! I’m also struggling a little bit with having that much power, but I think I’m gonna give it some time for me to learn how to play with it - I’ll have to try your lead set up! Thanks for the comment 😁
Its just the inconsistency for me, when the prep , footwork everything is right, its REALLY nice, if not, boy is a popper just because of the amount of pop and drive you can get , its forcing me to really try extra hard on topspin @@jordanplayspickle
