    i agree with you, when people purchase jewelry the last thing they think of is the price, as they are buying as you said luxury item, which isnt a "need" rather than a "want" product
    i personally am building a fine jewelry brand on instagram, i do have my own "USP" in my designs , however the number 1 problem i faced creating a brand new fine jewelry business and selling it purely online is customers wanted to see it live with their own eyes Q.Q before placing any order, even though non of my pictures are photoshoped and all have videos. but i do understand its not easy to pay 500 to 1000$+ for a product without actually seeing it live and feeling the vide .
    and i cannot open a store dont have the funds for it as i am new, i thought of advertising abroad in developed countries where people are more used to purchase fine jewelry online, but it needs a massive advertising budget , and my low margins dont allow me, i have 10-30 % net margin depending on the product
    so am stuck
