Today I explored the German Christmas market in Krefeld Linn I grew up in the city, but I have not been to the Christmas market for a long time. The market is right in front of a castle. It’s such a nice atmosphere at the Christmas market. Lots of merchandise is handcrafted. That’s what this Christmas market is known for after the Christmas market we went to had a bite to eat. - บันเทิง

I really enjoyed this video. I've not been to a Christmas market and this was so peaceful. Quiet music and quiet people all enjoying themselves. No screaming kids, and no rude, loud adults. Atmosphere is much more reserved than in America. Enjoy the holidays! 🎄🥰☮️
Yeah I have never done the crowds I don't know, & thought it was fun to wait in the heat for 2 hrs. for a 2 min.ride, $7.00 for a medium soda? Naw that was for the kids when young. My money is better spent elsewere these days. Like my turn now.

I really liked this Xmas market because no toys from Asia, yapping dog toys and such things that doesn't belong to this season.

There seems to be 2 classes of people. One's who try to make things nice for other and ones who don't. You bring happiness wherever you go. Think of the artists making beauty quietly in their homes so this market would be so lovely for others. Very very nice. Thank you for sharing your family too. 💕👌😊

My heritage is German on my mother's side. I am a Roush (now spelled Rausch). This brought back memories of my family who have now passed on. The holidays are bittersweet for me, but I like to be reminded. To everyone out there who may be a bit lonely this time of year, remember who you are and treasure those lovely memories of happier times.
Same here. I am mainly Irish, but do have a little German in me from my mom's side. A lot of those Christmas decorations look familiar, from when I was a kid growing up in the 70's. Merry Christmas from Florida, USA.

@@boutiquebabe He is right. Many cities in Germany stopped calling them "Christmas Markets" instead calls them "Winter markets" or "Holiday Markets" in order not to offend the muslim overpopulation. Same thing with butcher shops and open air pig meat sausage places. The smell of cooked or raw pig can offend the muslims so , they are closing them down one by one.
Take this lifestyle over LA any day. ❤

Chicago has a similar one to Germany because there is a big German community there.

The smells at the christmas markets here in germany are always my favorite, you get all kinds of different flavors.
Beautiful Krefeld-Linn and "Castle". This is so romantic 😍, and the people are friendly too, a big advantage against the large Christmas Markets in towns like Duesseldorf. The prices are so reasonable, I couldn't believe it. I paid more here in the US at my Christmas Shopping this week. And of course, snow is a must at this time of the year. Bundle up GiV and mom, and stay happy and healthy 💖.
the world is a cold place but the german make it better, and there needs to be more people like him in the world , just like bald and bankrupt !!

As a Dutchman living in Calgary Alberta, I miss the Christmas markets. My all-time favorite castle in Germany is Reichsburg Cochem.

My family lived in Heidelberg castle a long time ago of course. They left wealth behind in Germany for freedom here in America late 1800’s. I am 78% German.
Just fascinated with everything about the country, history and people.

What a great market. I only lived in Germany for a couple years and miss these Christkindl markt. All the food and the smells, the ornaments, they were always fun.

Merry Christmas German in Krefeld. Mike is a good son to go home and spend Christmas with his momma. It must be great to have a good mother, but the holidays in Germany look great. they have many traditions we usually don't have in America like all the hand made idems they were selling at the market.

I went to the German Christmas Market in Arlington, Texas tonight. It was a bit disappointing. Not all that much to do, partly because I arrived late due to the nightmarish traffic coming from the nearby Cowboys Stadium. Took me 40 minutes to drive roughly two blocks. After that frustration, I wasn't in the right frame of mind to enjoy the Market. I did get some schnitzel at a food stall. But it was small and there weren't that many interesting booths. There were a couple booths selling very Texas-style things, like locally made barbecue sauce and steak seasonings, and ink pens made from deer hunting bullets.
I much prefer the Christmas market in Krefeld Linn than Düsseldorf and that setting in the castle is fantastic.
