I'm beta testing iOS 18. the text messaging + RCS is a bit of a pain. the iOS can't tell the difference between an iPhone using iMessaging and an Android. So when you go to send another iPhone user a text, it sends it as SMS/RCS rather than iMessage. Then when you try to send attachments, they fail to go through, so you have to resend as sms. Hopefully this will get resolved in other releases. I've tried the mirroring between my mac mini and my iPhone. It "works" but if you try to use the text message feature, the mirroring doesn't detect your spacebar so it's all one giant word. Again, it's the 1st edition of the beta, so hopefully that gets worked out as well. Lots of messaging features and some other cool things that will completely change the way you interact with your iPhones. If you have a Mac of any kind and you're running the Sequoia beta, you can unlock your mac with you apple watch, instead of typing your password.
I am on the Fibonacci upgrade cycle. I upgraded to the iPhone 13 pro and now am waiting for the iPhone 21 as my next upgrade. By then it should be as thin as a sheet of 0.5 mm transparent titanium and be strong enough to hold a persons body weight without bending, a battery that does not need to be recharged for ten years and its quantum dot infinite resolution camera should be very impressive being able to photograph in N-dimensional spaces. The one last thing for the iPhone 21 is expect to be an ability to to act as bullet proof shield when kept in a shirt pocket over your heart and providing profusion data on34 will have to offer.
I want zero ports, zero speaker holes, no openings at all! Also 10,000 PPI screen with 1,000hz refresh. And I want it to be so thin that if you drop it, it's so thin it doesn't break. And the charge should last a month or more. All going to happen, 10,000 PPI seems needless, but it's already being developed right now, the speaker and mics will be the big challenge.

I want an iPhone SE that's smaller than the new 2nd generation closer to the first gen has USB-C and half decent updated features and under $500 some of us don't wanna carry a purse just to put a phone in when we have perfectly good pockets already they just don't fit the megaphones in search for the largest thinnest lowest battery life.
Apple can work and work on developing the Apple Vision Pro 2. It still will resemble, an expensive Necromonger Lensor tracking device. Coming soon. The Apple Lensor Vision Pro2.
Don’t think Vision Pro has failed. Only been out less than 4 months, and just now being released in multiple overseas markets. Plus new VisionOS 2 features are coming. Vision Pro will be similar to Mac Pro - high cost, limited sales, and less frequent updates. Still a high end technology showcase and useful for specific professional applications. Also will become viable for some home users as immersive 3D content (including live sports, movies, and games) become readily available. New high end content production takes time - just look at Apple TV+ with initial limited content library, but after several years it’s becoming a competitive streaming service. Additionally Vision Pro will become more powerful as Apple Intelligence becomes integrated into VisionOS. So I see a slow start and growth path for Vision Pro, but not near being dead. Additionally, it is a great stepping stone for preparing content and market viability for cheaper Apple Vision device(s).
Hopefully apple will offer the iPhone jumbo, that has a SE sized display, but dual USB-c 4, and battery life that exceeds that of the slim iPhone max. Who cares if it is as thick as a box of matches, that simply allows a better camera. And the possibility of actually having a phone that feels good in the hand and pocket. Make it properly waterproof as well, at the board level.
Has to be less that £1000. If meta can do it. So can Apple at £999 is a probably reasonable price. Go plastic make it lighter don’t skimp on vision or sensors. If they do that might as well use meta
Thin is not the problem. The problem was that Apple didn’t consider the fact that everyone puts their phone in their back pocket. I would’ve never had this issue that I had the older thinner iPhones because I never put my phone in my back pocket to begin with. It is kind of stupid that they didn’t think about the fact that a lot of people were in fact, putting their iPhones in their back pocket especially because of just how common it was but hey, like I said it’s not an issue if you’re keeping it in your front pocket or if if let’s say you keep it in a case that uses a lanyard or a belt clip
I would like to see modules for iPhones. Fancy keyboards, battery packs, ports, but I think I left somehow. A used iPad from 2016/17 is quite okay for something I'm doing. A cheap Nokia is helping me a lot with smartphone technology.
Regarding your question about whether I’d prefer a slimmer phone over a larger battery I can surely answer this with a clear Yes. I need to carry my iPhone the whole day, it’s a big advantage if it is a slim phone. There are quite a lot of options for charging the phone. No worries here about battery life 😉
I'm a fan of Apple going back to their old 3-tier product categories: the cheapest base offering doesn't have anything special in terms of features, performance or thin/lightness, the more-expensive Air offering is as thin and light as possible with a few upgraded features, and the most-expensive Pro offering has all the features and all the battery, no thin/lightness.

I want an iPhone SE that's smaller than the new 2nd generation closer to the first gen has USB-C and half decent updated features and under $500 some of us don't wanna carry a purse just to put a phone in when we have perfectly good pockets already they just don't fit the megaphones in search for the largest thinnest lowest battery life.
so many butte carry their phones, it heats up, and yet expect it will not bend when literally sitting on it?
I'm a Macbook fan, but I detest IOS. I just can't get excited about any battery changes.
smaller design with a thicker frame is fine, big and thick frame is uncomfortable in the pocket.
Not interested in the cheap version AirPods at all
If they drop the screen resolution and field of view it will fail again. We have that already its called quest 3.
You can’t imagine Apple abandoning a design and not making things backwards compatible - you must be new.
I wish they would throw the folding screen idea in the garbage forever. The grand total of people demanding "thinner phones" is zero.
Biggest issue with Vision Pro in my opinion is they’re not many good apps or games.
iPhone 1 through 3GS, 6 through 11 were round. Best ergonomics and more visually appealing. Their square phone shoulda been left at the 4
Hopefully apple will offer the iPhone jumbo, that has a SE sized display, but dual USB-c 4, and battery life that exceeds that of the slim iPhone max.
The time to go thinner is now, yes. Perfect timing as battery innovation is taking.a big leap forward.
Why post the cringeworthy renders? Open your eyes bruh
Old yeller is back!📢 🗣️🔊🙉
Thin is not the problem.
A cheap Nokia is helping me a lot with smartphone technology.
what airpods?
Regarding your question about whether I’d prefer a slimmer phone over a larger battery I can surely answer this with a clear Yes. I need to carry my iPhone the whole day, it’s a big advantage if it is a slim phone. There are quite a lot of options for charging the phone. No worries here about battery life 😉
The vision pro is expensive but to take away what makes it different will make it crap. lol
