My favorite Kieth David Role.........................................Spawn HBO series...He gave that Al Simmons such depth in that role, especially in the flashback scenes and the pain he conveys through his voice............The best black voice actor , hands down....and a hell of a movie actor too.
This guy kicks ass. He can play any one. Even if his character isn't black in the script, he's gonna be black in the movie. He's been in hundreds of flicks, he's got a great voice and he doesn't take himself too seriously. He has a monologue in the movie Crash that pretty much sums up the real theme of the whole movie. Keith David is my nigga.
I remember seeing a preview at the theatre for whatever movie it was where he was that serious military role when I was a kid. He said something all low and epic-like and my jaw dropped like, "HOLY SHIT, IT'S GOLIATH!"
