This was my Darling Wife's favorite song... She first heard me play it on a KORG C-5000 Digital Piano. I had a really bad day at work and she was asleep when I arrived home. I turned the volume down to nearly silent and closed my eyes and began playing and the stress of the day melted away into the music. After nearly an hour I finally took a deep breath and turned from the keyboard to see her lying facing the foot of the bed, wrapped in a sheet, head on her hands and smiling. We made love until the sun came up and fell asleep in each other's arms... My Beautiful Renee is gone now, singing with God's angels, but this music always take me back to gazing into each other's eyes, saying volumes without words. I Love You Baby and I miss You beyond the capability of words...

I play cello and this is heaven on earth. Thank you for thinking of those of us who need the comforts of the soul and spirit. Healing, releasing, and restoring the peace that does abide within.
I actually believe that Pachelbel wrote the first 8 measures and either broke up with a cellist or died because it's the same 8 notes over and over (I play in orchestra)
is it just me (i have very good hearing and am quite good at any instrument that's not related to trumpets), so is the cello just the same thing over and over again in this song (not that that's bad)?

Great to listen to. Pachelbel's Canon was a long-time favourite in my family, as a child, so I grew up knowing the piece very well. It's a shame other pieces by the same composer are seldom played - even the Gigue which accompanies the Canon. The way in which the piece has been cut and spliced to extend the playing time is inventive, but it's a shame that the splices don't always follow the melodic sense.
OMG! THIS IS THE CLASSICAL MUSIC THAT I LOVE THE MOST! I REALLY LOVED IT! I ALWAYS LISTENED TO IT! I FEEL RELAXED WHEN I LISTEN TO IT THANK YOU! FOR POSTED IT IN TH-cam!
isn't it a luxury to be able to hear this music any time you please for any amount of time and any volume wherever you are on this earth? when it was first composed, i bet you had to pay loads to hear this in a concert room
This song reminds me of my childhood. My mom had a little jewelry box and when you opened it this song started playing. So as a child I constantly opened it just to listen to this song😅
This music is great to listen to especially when I'm praying, reading my bible, writing my books, and doing many other things. -- Lord Tetrasil Revanite --
German composer of the Baroque era Johann Pachelbel is best known for his Canon in D, a popular piece of classical music that has become one of the most recognized and frequently performed compositions in the world. 10:01 [Hello Music Theory]
Baroque musical genres include both vocals and instrumentals, with the only difference being they were quite larger in number of categories than those of in the renaissance era.
It was in the Baroque era - roughly 1600-1750 - that the notion of the orchestra really came into its own, and composers started to layer instruments up in complex polyphony - different musical parts - and harmony. [Classic FM]
When and where Pachelbel's Canon originated, and why exactly he composed it, is largely a mystery to music historians. It dates to the late-17th or early 18th century, and there's speculation that it was written as a gift for the wedding of Johann Sebastian Bach's older brother, who studied with Pachelbel. 50:05 [The New York Times]
JS Bach has been called 'the supreme arbiter and law-giver of music'. He is to music what Leonardo da Vinci is to art and Shakespeare is to literature, one of the supreme creative geniuses of history. [Gramophone]
Been more than 10 years since I first heard this lovely piece of music, and it's still just as pleasant and enjoyable as the very first time I heard it :)
I think this is what heaven will sound like. Awesome, wonderos, without words. My soul rises every time I listen to it. No words can describe the peace and joy this piece gives me.
I was trying to find a something to play and this came up. While trying to listen to it I fell asleep without realizing. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, might be my song to play

I played this song for my mother as she lay on her death bed. I like to think that her last memories on earth were the beautiful song and being with family. My mother died on June 24. I still tear up hearing this masterpiece; I think of my mom in her final days.

This masterpiece is the most calming piece of music I've ever experienced. It transcends anything here on earth...must be what heaven is like. And my precious furbaby absolutely LOVES this piece. No matter where he is, if I play it, he lays down, head on paws.

This always makes me cry. It touches something in my soul.

The sound track of heaven.
This music came from Heaven and Pachelbel happened to access it and translate it to human language.
Someone once said that this piece was Divine inspiration. I tend to agree. There are just some pieces of music that is so well written that it just pulls at your soul to connect with the Divine God!
This is one of those pieces.
This is absolutely lovely and beautiful! I can listen to it all day non-stop!
Oh my god!!
This is the most perfect piece of music!
Yes, nothing compares on earth to this
I've been looking for this song for a very long time now. And if you ask me it was totally worth it.
This song is like cleans my soul. Every mistakes i've been done just fly away. Every bad choices are gone in my mind when i listen this. I feel normal yea just normal. This feels good...
That's a really good way to describe the feeling! I wonder if the composer felt the same way.
I think sound is used to heal humans. Thats what churches and those huge pipe organs were for. Weve lost touch
Limpia mi alma👋

i got this from piano tiles
your the first person on here that i found who said about piano tiles!
Also got this from Piano Tiles 2 and just loved this song so much
Great to listen to.
Oh my gosh! I love this song so much! I know how to play half of this on piano... Want to learn it on my violin. Thanks for this amazing song!!! ^-^
I agree
I love this app music
i hope you can learn all of it! and someday i will too

isn't it a luxury to be able to hear this music any time you please for any amount of time and any volume wherever you are on this earth? when it was first composed, i bet you had to pay loads to hear this in a concert room
Random Chicken :) Back then they didn't have concerts. Classical Musicians played for the pleasure of kings and Queens. They lived in castles.

i would love to hear this in a concert room :)

This song brings happiness to the world.
Love this song❤ It's so beautiful and relaxing!
Been more than 10 years since I first heard this lovely piece of music, and it's still just as pleasant and enjoyable as the very first time I heard it :)

It's a wonderful music. This makes me feel that two lovers are having conversation with passion. My heart is pounding.
No matter what this is my all time favorite piece of music. My oldest loved it as a child and still does 30 years later. Never out of date.
I played this song for my mother as she lay on her death bed. I like to think that her last memories on earth were the beautiful song and being with family. My mother died on June 24. I still tear up hearing this masterpiece; I think of my mom in her final days.
If there ever was a perfect song written, I think this is the one.
very beautiful and peaceful song. I love it to the max. So in love
