I played the violin from the 5th to the 12th grade and haven't played it since. I recently bought a new violin and decided to take lessons. After not thinking I could remember much after experiencing a mild stroke back in 2012, I was surprised in my first class how much I could actually remember. My teacher thinks I'll be ready to play this sooner than I think. I'm going to try my best to get it accomplished. I'm really excitied after hearing this.
Out of the classical composers this is my ultimate favourite, could listen to this hour after hour, so calming , so much serenity, the ultimate best in classical I've ever heard, total respect to Johann for composing this.
Johann sebastian pachelbel wrote this song as a wedding present for one of his relatives. Unbelievably, it went into obscurity until 1972 when a Sanfrancisco radio station played it and the phones started ringing off the hook with requests to play it.

Canon In D Major is my go to music when I'm trying to relax from the happenings in my day and the terrible situation the entire Earth is in. I believe the original was played with a harpsichord, 2 violins and a lute. No matter the modern musical instruments do it justice. Just relax and chill out and think of better things that hopefully will come soon.

Esta musica me induce un estado mental muy adecuado para hacer ese tipo concreto de meditacion. Tambien, una vez leí en un comentario asi que este canon, en especial la parte que empieza a escalar estaba hecho para dejar ir un pensamiento tras otro al reflexionar. Imagino que realmente la intencion del autor era un Canon para bodas, pero tambien causa esa sensacion en mi. Asi que lo uso cuando debo pensar o estudiar, en concreto uso el canon de pachelbel original que es mas rapido y para meditar este mas lento.
