Our society seems to be overly obsessed with labels ,titles and status. It’s as if everything we do is defined by these things. I’m an easy going humans and been called so many different names especially my ethnicity some thought I couldn’t communicate well ,it gotten worst after I lost half of my face . So many humans are judgmental but they don’t acknowledge themselves that they are doing it. When meeting new people ,we often evaluate people based on their profession or level of education. It’s like living in a world of vulnerability is a weakness and showing it is a sure fire way . But if we shift our focus to something more meaningful? Instead of judging people based on external factors, what if we create a culture values, vulnerability and imperfection? By doing so ,we could foster a more compassionate and empathetic society where people are appreciated for who they are, rather than what they have achieved. Imagine a world where we don’t judge people based on labels, titles,or status, but on the content of their character, and truly connect with others on a deeper level. I am still exploring authenticity and judgement,I never pay much attention prior getting sick I just take it and move on . After I got sick it’s a different story so many humans were very judgmental about my decisions and I just delete them out of my circle.I am surrounded with a loving family and friends that are authentic humans and to date support my decision.
Thanks for sharing this Lucy, I appreciate your comment! I think that it takes a lot of courage to look at things from a perspective of non-judgment and that people struggle with this because they have not completed the internal work to come from a loving place. I know I have done this in the past and it was because I hadn’t healed parts of myself. You are one of the most courageous, brave and beautiful human beings that I have ever met and you have a heart that is filled with a capacity to love and understand that is rare to find in this world.
