I always cook the meat first. Then I add onions, garlic, diced serrano peppers, diced carrots, diced tomatoes, corn and some Mexican canned jalapeño sauce. Season with salt and black pepper. Then I make some tortillas and make my tacos. Drop fresh shredded lettuce and tomatoes. Yummmy.
I came searching for healthy ground chicken recipes. I am trying this recipe tonight. Quick, healthy and inexpensive! Thank you for sharing your recipe❤
You can actually cook rice right in the sauce pan with the meat and veggies with a little water and tomato sauce with the ground turkey and it’s a variation on a dish my Mom used to make called ‘Spanish rice’…the rice takes on the flavor of everything!
Your presentation for the Ground Turkey recipe looked so delicious that I didn’t have to search anywhere els e for a recipe. I used herbs and spices I have on hand and with all the other ingredients I added chopped celery and the leaves. I cooked brown rice and a pot of navy beans. 😊 Yummy! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
I did mine the same way only I kept the veggie’s separate with added zucchini and a little broccoli. I also put blk beans in the steamer part while my rice cooked in a rice cooker. It was sooo bomb

Did u add water in the beginning with the onions and pepper?
i just gave this recipe a try & it’s delicious!! Thank you for sharing :-)
Thank you
I'm glad you enjoyed it❤
I loved this recipe, since I try not to cook red meat for my family very often, it gives some variety, and only dirties two dishes.
💜😊
do you have the measurements for the salt, paper, onion powder etc?
Salt pepper to taste...about 1/2 teaspoon salt (add more if needed) 2 dashes of pepper. I use about 3 teaspoons of onion powder
TRY GROUND TURKEY AND GROUND BEEF, WOW !
Hi may I ask what did you use to sautée the onion and bell pepper with
Hi Kay,
I used canola oil.
@@CinnamonStoveKitchen ok thank you so much
How do you know how much season to start with? For reference if I have about 3lbs of ground turkey how much of each seasoning should I add?
Taste your food while cooking and add seasoning till it taste good. I don’t ever use measurements I use my tongue.
How much water do i add at the end? One pack of groynd turkey i used
1/2 cup of water or beef broth
I need measurements 😂
Why would you need onion powder with a pot of fresh onion?
The onion powder has a slightly different flavor than fresh onions. It helps to bring out the fresh onion flavor even more...
Missing some worstishire in your life!! Lol
Your daughter's boyfriend hasn't any manners have her ghost him.
😂
