Hi Rick. Good to see you're walking up the front with some panache on the Style. You must have been practising! After a lengthy wait my Steeze has arrived in the UK so should be delivered this week. Can't wait to jump on my first Sunova.
Nice surfing man ! I took my 9’6 SUP out for the first time in Months .. Conditions In RI was perfect today . Convinced my myself to put the SHORT down lol 😆 .. was much fun this morning .. definitely need to change the fin setup 👎🏽👎🏽 good thing I know how to surf lol definitely putting a new setup for the next time it’s glassy out .. keep it Real Man 🤙🏽
I have a 9' 5" Speeed that i am thrilled with. Its oddly both surfy and stable. I see that you have tested the Steeze in the same size. How do they compare? Is there much difference? Do you lose some stability with the Steeze?
9'5 Speeed and 9'6 Steeze are quite different. The 9'6 Steeze is a low rockered board that surfs like a fun shape with a longboard feel. Even though the numbers are quite similar, the Steeze is noticeably tippier. The Speeed has a lot more nose kick for a steeper drop and the tail will handle any size wave. The Speeed will carve a tighter cutback because of the tail. They both occupy different niche's, so not redundant to have both in your quiver IOM.
@@chrisodonnell1114 ha ha.... because I have virtually every Sunova model in my quiver :-) Sunova liked my reviews of their boards, so they adopted me. I have travelled on demo tours with Sunova, then they left the boards with me. This May they flew me to the factory in Thailand for a month. I was never brand loyal before, because my time on the water is everything to me, but Sunova has everything I need... and if I want something different.... Bert will shape it! My custom last request became the "Creek" model.
@@rickweeks Ahhh very good. Ask Bert if he needs an east coast evangelist. ;) The Speeed is by far the best board i have owned. I may need another one as a backup, but with a custom paint job. Cheers.

@@rickweeks Thanks. How is it that you have been able to test so many different Sunova sups?
