Liked the video and I gained a SR boost. Legit trick. I always let my tires warm up on the first lap before pushing. Also avoid jumping to start, ahhh so mad at myself for qualifying 1st or 2nd to only jump the start. I’ll never do that again. Loved the video bruh.
I feel the pain of your experience lolol. I would say, if someone has played for more than a year consistently they all have each been punted to another planet at one point or another
That’s such a good tip. I’ve been using pre quali practice to fuck around and had no idea why my safety wasn’t going up as much after a perfect race. Thanks for the tip!!
I try to always take the first turn slow. Not crazy, but slower than normal. Both for the reasons you mention, but also because I suck on cold tires in some cars. FF1600 and SRF are my worst for cold tires.
4:46 How do you start from the pits? Just get on the grid and then escape to pits? Or is there a menu option to go to pits specifically at the start of the race?
If you let the timer run out it will put you into the pit lane. Last I saw, there was also a button in the online sessions that says skip start / or start in pit lane :)
I was so close to class b and then got crashed out 2 times in a row and it wasnt even my fault and went back down to 2.50 after being 3.64. so demoralizing to continue when all i want to do is get to class B for IMSA
Well what worked best for me was making incomplete rounds in practice and qualifying (start and go back in the pits), start from the back in the race and make sure not to collect incidents. Pick up some places at the cost of guys who crash and collect .5+ sr at the end 😇
played super safe today. Saw a driver catching up behind me who I just saw wipe out earlier in the race. Let off the gas and he smashed into me. Cost me some points :(
I have been iRacing about 6 months with a group of fellow track drivers and racers. I have not done any open lobbies until this week when I decided to work on my SR. Man...I quali really well...but nearly every race I get punted by people driving back on the track unsafely or people just generally not knowing how to drive. I started letting everyone buy on the first lap...and sometimes getting punted again...I love the starting from the pits lane...and the extra qualifying laps. Great tips!
bro I got I racing 3 DAYS AGO I have been p1 p2 p3 in basically every race I’ve done, I will ALWAYS either get PUNTED off by the dude behind me or a back marker
😂 oh man that sucks to here! What’s most important is just getting that license class up ! Then you can enter in more events and also get paired with safer drivers. Best to start at the back and let all the other guys crash out then finish the race working through the field, it’s fun too passing everyone 👍🏽 I’ll link a video I made going over some more details
Rookie and class D and some of class c are simply idiots, they have no concept of safety. You have to start at the back and avoid all cars. . Get into Class B and then you will have decent racers. It's a slow boring process but can be fun at times overtaking people that have crashed but most importantly a worthy investment
Unfortunately the hard racing going for irating score and wins always has that safety rating looking over your shoulder! Push-pull type system isn't it

Thanks ! I think I have jump started just 1 time as well, you never do it again haha
So thats why I see dudes have +0.22 a race while I have a +0.12 while I have a perfect race. Thanks for the tips!
Glad it helped you out!
Last race I got pole on the grid and got punted on the first corner by p3. FeelsBadMan. Thanks for the safety rating tip! Subscribed.

SR 4.99 incoming! Thanks for the comment

Good stuff, some people just stress out too much ! That 1600 loves to do about 1600 spins even with warm tires haha
I LOVE the max lapping qualifying tip. Before a race DON't CLICK GRID and start from pit lane. This could help you miss the first lap mayhem.
Thanks! Yep, starting from the pits is one of the best ideas ever with this game haha!
Dude, best iRacing tips i've heard of 🎊🥳😍
Especialy the extra Qualy laps counting for SR !
Thanks very much fellow racer 👍
Hope it has treated you well!

this guy only radiates genuine vibes
That's so nice of a comment dude haha thanks !

that’s what i’m dealing with right now lol
I’m currently in the same boat :/
Hope you got there boys! Everyone goes through the pain
Good tips, these buffoons always punting me but now ima do that tip 2 because it’s always rookies that punt me
The most deadly of all drivers are the rookies, is it intentional? Will never be able to tell haha

Perfect! Bit of a pain to do, but it's less stressful then getting caught in the nonsense wrecks turn 1 LOL

Why stop at killing 1 person when you can go for the whole grid! haha

Great driver clearly if you can dial in on qualy laps, it's always the hardest part! Hope the strategies helped you well

I got demoted from A to B yesterday 😂😱 u believe that I never though practice/qualify count for safety? Haha I will have now to get 4.0 again
Safety rating always has it's gaining and losing phases! Wish I could say I'm in the gaining phase atm.. hah!
i started about week ago. dropped my sr to 2.0. got couple podiums but i need to raise that sr now, battling for win dosesn't do any good to ur sr
Unfortunately the hard racing going for irating score and wins always has that safety rating looking over your shoulder! Push-pull type system isn't it
Does this still work
I've seen nothing that would suggest it's been changed Lj, so yep worth adding these things in
@@swolabear Just Tried it and gain a .64 wow.
