Tripa is fabulous. Made in a feijoada style. My favorite place is Cozinha do Manel near the Heroismo metro station. Be prepared to be hungry.

I was there in Porto this past Summer. I really enjoyed Rua Santa Catarina. I had lunch there and then did a little shopping. Going back now in April and my concentration will be mostly in Braga. I love European train travel also as I first discovered it right there in Portugal. I love Portugal.

Is it possible for a person to spend a month here on a very low budget ? Can a tourist keep a bicycle for self / personal transportation and thereby visit and enjoy all the places that are worth spending time ? I have never been outside my home nation. I don't know where to begin.

A rivalry ? Between Lisbon and Porto ??? Nonsense ! Porto people are envious of Lisbon's importance and status as capital. And we don't really lose sleep about it, which drives them more mad than they already are.
I should also mention that you find the best people in the world there. They're tough as nails, hard working, extremely loyal and straightforward. The best friends one can have. Very authentic people.

No more videos about Portugal! the country is facing a big property crisis, find other ways of making money, just STOP!
Jesus, everyday some American with a youtube channel makes a video about Portugal, so they can promote thier online bussiness, attract attention, etc.. They are so use to colonise countries, is just normal for them
