i really wish one day drakengard is released on steam, a remake or not. gestalt/replicant, and automata are masterpieces, and id love to see how it relates to drakengard
This will always take me back to 2015 right before my ex and I started dating. She brought over her Playstation 3. After she beat a level I remember us just lying there cuddling to this song. Simpler times
Played through all of Draken-nier with my ex by my side so I can relate to this, every track from everygame makes me think of her. The music was her favourite part.
No you don't, please watch it and save yourself the suffering. If you have a good PC however it's highly recommended you emulate it if that's a possibility.
@@wakelo23ou just don't have the guts and the patience mate. slaughtering all those soldiers (and seeing your KD ratio rise) in drakengard 1 and 2 on those open fields with your dragon you can summon whenever, it was AMAZING.
@@Stangrex glad to see someone else think the same as me, I really hate how most people seem to hate the gameplay of the drakengard series, for me it was some of the most fun I've ever had playing a game. Couple that with the story and the soundtrack and it's a fantastic experience.
The Drakengard series, Nier, and Nier Automata all have songs sung by Emi Evans and composed by Keichi Okabe. They invented a language called Chaos language which is ultimately meaningless and meaninglessness is a theme in the games. Also it is apparently based off of certain dialects of language depending on which song it is. It is meant to be what they believe language will sound like by those specific time periods especially in Nier and Automata. I hope someone fact checks me if I’m wrong about anything but I believe this is correct.
@@janterri3539 Your info. is correct. To add to your comment, the chaos language that Emi Evans came up with draws from English, French, Latin, German, Japanese, and other influences. As far as the theme of meaninglessness goes, I also think that's correct, but I would add that, at least in Automata, the question of finding meaning and purpose despite apparent meaninglessness is answered. On my interpretation, Automata gives a kind of existentially sort of answer, where what gives your life meaning is for you to decide. Tbh, I think that Automata is a beautiful work of art that anyone with an interest in philosophy/existentialism MUST experience at least once in their life -- it's that good!
@@manuelcastellanosjr4929 to further add to this, I believe I heard that some of the words are real words to help sell the idea that the language has some kind of meaning that the listener will end up conjuring and the music itself still imparts some kind of story that can only be felt on the emotional level.

I'm pretty sure it plays during the secret zoo level. Either that or under the truck that's just off-screen at the docks.
