Engineering with Light: 2000 Years of Innovation

Humans have gotten really great at bending light to their will. Turns out, all that innovation started with lenses! We’ve progressed from starting fires with ice spheres over 2000 years ago to streaming videos with fiber optic cables today, and we owe it all to the field of photonics.
