    Very helpful thanks mate. Only thing I would like to mention is that although you describe what you are doing and me being a learner to want and need to do this test I would suggest that you show the dial settings on your meter to give me, the mug, a better idea of where to put the settings. I still think your video is great so again thanks for posting. Cobba

    Hi - what if the voltage goes up while im holding lead on the last step? I have 2 condensers, one ticks down, the other goes up at first, then down but stays at same voltage.. defective?

    He's doing the procedure correctly but not explaining it correctly, because he forgot that not everyone understands the difference between voltage and resistance. Nor does he explain that when he switches the meter from volts to megohms he's changing the circuit.
