I garrenty u will love ur 7810 I have had mine for 14 years and have never had a problem. Mine has 5600 hours and has been are big tractor sicen we got it. Great purchase my friend👍👍
Reminds me of IH 2+2 3388 we bought new, the front tires with regularity kicked mud up on the lower front windows which made them useless. But it was a fun tractor to drive and it was the last tractor bought for the farm before it was sold in 1981.
Have you ever thought about running your front tires backwards? We run all of ours that way and it makes them wear so much better on the road, and they don't throw dirt near as bad in the field.
I feel the same way about the John Deere 7810 if it was mine I would put Treleborgs on the front and back and have some duals made up and fited with Treleborgs too and a John Deere loader but whats up with the New Holland PB bailer I would had went with Deeres version so it would be a one stop shop trip for parts
What is the distance from center of one tire to the center of the other tire. We run 38" row spacing on ours and it is not as wide as yours are set.I think ours is 76" center to center. I hope you had good luck in the storm. It sure looks like NJ was hit terrably bad especially eastern NJ.
I've put 18.4 R-42 duals on by myself, the same size as the rears on Wes' new 7810. Goes a lot easier with another set of hands, but isn't impossible. Run the rear tire up on a couple blocks of wood to the correct height so the dual goes on the hub, use a big bar to spin the dual so one of the bolt holes line up, put a bolt in, and from there it's a relative cake walk.
Hey Wes, 2.20462 lbs is equal to 1 kilogram. Thus, if you have 14 of those bad boys, you have around 1450 lbs of suitcase weights there hanging on the front end of your 7810. Don't forget to add more for the cast weight bracket. They are quite heavy as well.
no i just am a little picky about my oil so i change it in all my equipment when i get it.most people that are selling something put cheap shit oil in just to say they changed the oil..
You have to keep the ratio of the heights of the front and back tires within a certain range. The owners manual gives combinations of front and rear tires that are acceptable.
there are 14 weights on the front all weighing in at 47Kg. 47 times 14= 658Kg on the front. 1 kg is 2.20462 so times that by 658 you get 1450lb in the front of your tractor.
old engine oil can damage an engine theres tiny metal filings in the oil if these build up and get throught the filter they can damage shell bearings by the filing getting in them and eventually scoring them
Don't forget the decrease in the lubrication as the oil breaks down due to use and heat. To the guy who asked the question: remember when in doubt change the oil, an oil change is cheaper than a new engine.
Chging the tyres round like this its no wonder you chew through axels, bearings and tyres. When track is increased like this the scrub radius of the wheel is messed up and the load on the axels is increased. The Longer the leaver more torque is created.
Scott Lincoln Its basically a factory on wheels if you need a more descriptive option it's best if you could just google it or something...... because the description will be too drawn out to say here.
47 kilos is about 103 pounds. A pound is 0.45 of a kilo. a kilo, on the other hand is about 2.2 pounds. You don't want to pick those up on your own... Get your son to do that!
First video from OLF that I watched. I’ve been hooked ever since! Thanks!!

So how did you make out through Sandy? hope all your family and farm weathered ok.
If u change the size of the back tires do u have to change the gearing for the fwd. Or change the front tires too?
It’s worth getting impact sockets. I’ve broken lots of regular sockets. :)
Where's the footage of moving the rear tires? I really wanted to see how you handled that. Bet it was spectacular.
what is that grey tractor with stuff on it next to the 7810

you should put duals on it and so you can cultivate and pull a grain cart with it
I wonder how much quicker the hub bearings go out because of the wheels being flipped?
much faster
old engine oil can damage an engine theres tiny metal filings in the oil if these build up and get throught the filter they can damage shell bearings by the filing getting in them and eventually scoring them
