My list: Inner tie rods, outer tie rods, sway bar bushing, stabilizer links, rotors, calipers, rack (now leaking), struts, 5 alignments, subframe mounts, driveshafts, new rims, new tires... (still shakes and shimmies) ! - plugs, wires, ignition coil... (still accelerates slower than grandma). The other day: Big popping noise in front... then the sound of a compactor crushing a metal roof...until both wheels locked up while car in middle of road. Whats next ? Output shaft? Output shaft speed sensor locking output shaft ?? or could it be the cv joints locking up the tires... but wait a sec: both tires are locked. So Towed it to the shop - again and haven't heard anything back. Maybe they strapped the car to a tree, hoisted it up and burned it like a witch ? Maybe the disconnected the cv joints and put it in neutral and let it go over a cliff ?? I haven't heard from mechanic yet. Yes: this car makes sure that every paycheck you get is eaten up immediately. The car costs 30K new but after 10 years, it costs a quarter million ?? And why is the steering rack and all the other things placed so it takes a houdini to get them free ?? 2 quick connects for in and out to pump... and 2 bolts to hold it in. Change a steering rack out? 5 minutes !!! But noooooooo-- Broken Jaw and teeth you say? Try massive flesh wounds trying to get the rack out. The car should cost a cheap 120K up front and no service required for 100 years. But Noooooooo
Mark Paradis You found a Ch..ch..chevy mechanic? Bless you. I thought we were extinct. It'll take him awhile to get back to you. He's gotta tie a couple lifelines and get 3 or 4 spotters before going in. Oh, and a good therapist. (Witch doctor)

I'm going to be doing some work on my sh......Chevy Trailblazer pretty soon because my check engine light is back in again after spending close to $500 to have one oxygen sensor replaced. I have a 08 Saturn Aura XE and I have had this issue for a while now. No matter what I did the engine power reduced would always come back on after a day or so. I changed relays, sensors, throttle body, and sill did not fix the issue. But now my problems as been solved. If you are getting an error code that says P1634 ignition 1 power circuit low voltage . The issue is the fuse box under the hood. This was my problem.
Chchchevy isn't the only one. All automobiles are junk now days. The names are the only things that are made in America. Everything else is made in China, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and MMMMEMEMEXICO! With lower wages ,lower production standards are to be expected! Hey Dave have you had to replace the oil filter housing and gasket yet? Very common also. And hey The PS pump went bad because of the Rack ,not the other way around. The psi deferential in the rack causes the pump to overheat and then it starts making noise. Sorry just trying to let others know what causes the failure. These car should come with a warning , Only sold to Mechanics . It always needs work . G.M. does Stand for Garbage machines . But thanks for the laugh , I needed it . And it has been garage kept.

I think for me was the catalytic converter because after replacing that when my car wouldn’t pass smog it went away. But it only came out once before I haven’t changed it.

Been dealing with this crap since last fall with my 2008 g6...replaced MAF, & pedal acceleration sensor. Now throwing me TPS code....ready to get full coverage and torch it. One thing after another with this car 😤😬😬
Have it scanned for trouble codes. That will get you pointed in the right direction. Code p2135 is often the throttle position sensor. Lots of other possible causes.

We have the same problem i replaced the throttle body and throttle position sensor and it still didnt fix it
Have it scanned for trouble codes. That will get you pointed in the right direction. Code p2135 is often the throttle position sensor. Lots of other possible causes.
Check the wires in the harness going to the throttle sensor, they tend to wiggle loose. There was a recall on that pigtail
Found my throttle pedal sensor was only at .98 volts. Should be 5 volts, hoping changing a $36 part does the trick
