I don't understand why these "lite" versions of these phones exist. Couldn't Samsung just continue selling and support for the older s and note series phones for people looking for cheaper, but quality phones.
@Lucas Gawor the "lite" note is better than a note 9? And a lite s10 is better than a s9 plus? There are differences and trade offs, but if you look at the entire spec sheet, it's not "better quality" or automatically better if Samsung would just keep the older models updated. They make really good hardware which they discard so easily every new year

Well, it does ship with a pair of akg-tuned usb-c earbuds. But if the jack is a must, the Note 10 Lite has a 3.5mm jack. I own a Pioneer IM5 Ironman earbuds for about a few years now (i paid 20 bucks for them). I don't miss wired earbuds, all my last 3 smartphones' factory earbuds were still on the packaging.

Well... Here in Brasil the s10 lite it's a better option over s10 Plus, cause s10 plus uses exynos and it tends to heat more than SD855, and the price is nice.
Already bought one on the release day itself and I am so happy with it so far...5 stars and full thumps up...go on...for the price its totally worth it...i saved 150 USD on it by using my Credit card offer...got it around for 450 USD...
Im watching on my s10 lite haha. Best . Snapdragon 855 all the way. Save money. If it had 120hz should be great. Still so smooth after upgrading from s8plus exynos. :)
I'll probably take the advice and wait for the price to drop (will stick to my P20 Pro until then). It took me couple of days deciding if S10 Lite or S20+ but my hatred towards curved displays helped and I'm willing to sacrifice IP and glass body (and better camera and all other stuff). If S20+ (or Note 10+) had the flat screen it would be my dreamed phone. Such a shame. And thanks for the video review.

This would've done quite a bit better if it was named the S20 Lite and had a 90hz screen. Compelling phone nonetheless, and I love how small the punch hole is.
A small gripe: how does a reviewer from the biggest phone review site around not know that LDAC support has been included in android since 8? All phones with Android 8 or later support LDAC, it's not surprising at all.

All Samsung Galaxy phones from the S8 have at least January security update with the February patch coming within the next week or so

A true review all series other than s are not that good so i think older s series are still better than other series and there is no need of macro zoom lens got more uses i.e spying and if u need macro shots buy a macro clipe lens cost about 1$

The s10 is about $500 right now and the s10 lite costs $50 more, why pay more and give up wireless charging and water proofing? There will be the one time you're stuck in the rain or drop it in the sink or toilet and you're screwed

Might be a bit of a stupid question but whatever. I've been using a S7 for 3 years now and the socket stopped working like half a year ago so I've been wireless charging it since then. Now I've been thinking about getting an S10 lite and I'm kinda worried there might be a risk of getting the same problem also since the headphone jack is gone and the usb c port is therefore used for that too. And in that case it'd be kinda shittier since the S10 lite doesn't support wireless charging. Is there an actual risk of that happening or am I just being paranoid cause I got unlucky?
If you are too worried just go for the cheaper Galaxy A71. So if something happens you can replace easily. But i strongly suggest the S10 lite and i don't think you will get unlucky this time.
I'm torn. Super into this phone, but I can't get over the lack of a waterproof rating. Did they just not want to spend the money on the certifications, or did they actually ignore any sort of waterproofing on the device itself?
I hate fragile glass bodies and curved screen. I don't care much about camera, battery and performance are my priorities. This phone is perfect for me.

I've used my S7 for 3 years by slapping few ugly case on it just to protect its glass body.. Looks don't matter much for me lol! Also full metal makes the phone heavier which in turn makes it more susceptible to internal damage in case of a accidental drop, it may also cause signal interference.

They launched this because there’s still a huge price difference between the A71/A90 and the S10e... they tried to fill that space up.
And they launched it in exynos markets where the people were dying to get a snapdragon samsung mobile of higher tier.

i think the way they test it is they drain the phone's battery without using it. so i think it may depend in your usage if u use this heavily
