Turn-by-turn Breakdown: Phase 1 (Throne, Partitio, Castti, Ochette) - despite using aelfric's blessing in the strategy, party order is NOT important here Turn 1 Throne: Ancient Cursed Talisman Partitio: Latent Power - Aelfric's Blessing on Throne Castti: Springy Boots Partitio - allows partitio to act first on turn 2 Ochette: 1 BP Take Aim Turn 1, bonus turn Throne: Latent Power - Energizing Pomegranate (M) on herself, then Aeber's Reckoning - this is the single most important turn in the fight, and may require gear re-adjusting to work properly. This should kill the bottom 2 tentacles BUT NOT kill the top 2 (still needs to do >80k on them). If the top 2 tentacles die, throne is too powerful. Fix this by doing one (or more) of the following, as needed: - Unequip throne's speed boosting armour - Equip -speed equipment (cursed armour, lost tribe's dagger, DO NOT equip giant shield) - Give throne a worse dagger If your throne is extremely powerful (e.g. via nuts) and the above does not work, you could skip using the ancient cursed talisman. Keep in mind that if you skip the talisman, you need >90k damage on the top 2 tentacles rather than 80k. If all is set up correctly, the bottom 2 tentacles should now be dead, the top 2 should be below 20k HP, and throne should also be dead (if anyone else is dead, they should have better defensive gear). This is intended, as it lets throne avoid her buffs wiped by vide. Turn 2 Throne: N/A Partitio: Latent Power - 3 BP Hired Help: Foreign Assassins -This kills the remaining 2 tentacles and full heals the party, allowing them to survive the second set of Hellbounds. Castti: Defend - lets her act first on turn 3. If she doesn't have 2 BP right now, either she's too tanky or you forgot to equip BP in Adversity. Ochette: Olive of Life on Throne -If you are using a snowy stew as opposed to an azuki porridge, this needs to be a large olive. If using porridge, a small olive is fine. Turn 2, bonus turn Throne: Azuki Porridge or Snowy Stew on herself (allows her to re-activate peak performance after each lionheart's axe use) Turn 3 Throne: Armor Corrosive Partitio: 1 BP Share SP - note: in very rare circumstances, throne can actually be first on this turn instead of castti. Hey there, I'm prepping to try this fight out, and while I have an Ancient Cursed Talisman, I only have the one. I need to re-read your descriptions and comments again, but I was wondering if there was a way to steal/farm for more of them? I'm finding conflicting sources online. I've seen they only spawn on the Island where we find the Arcanist class. I've seen two sources saying they can be stolen off the Delsta Devil in the Sunken Maw as a rare encounter, but one was debunked saying it was an Ancient Sentinel Core, then on the Steam Resource page, it says it is in fact able to be stolen from the Delsta Devil. Was wondering if you could confirm for me one way or another? I'm still going to go look for it in the meantime, but figured it was worth asking. Thanks for these videos!
You get everything you used (consumables, money, concoct materials, NPC summon uses) during any extra battle back after you either die or win, so you don't need to worry about wasting your limited consumables on these fights. The strategy only needs one (and technically speaking you could actually replace it with ochette's howl and have throne use a beast liver on herself instead, but my true vide the wicked no nuts strat also needs one ancient cursed talisman so it's a pointless distinction to make). You can't get another one, the only 4 ancient cursed talismans in the game come from 4 chests on the lost isle. The other items with limited supply include decaying dragon's essence (2 max), grail of life (2 max), almighty olive (1 max), reinforcing jam (17 max), and rejuvenating jam (3 max). There's also ruinous relics and wrigging roots but those aren't nearly as useful. Regarding the delsta devil, not only can you not re-fight it after you've defeated it, but you can't even steal from it. Maybe they mean that you can find enemies with ancient sentinel cores in the sunken maw (which is true), though that area also isn't the only area you can find sentinel cores.

Thanks for letting me know about the all the limited items too, much appreciated. Regarding the devil, there was contention about its rematch, and the source that was debunked said it was Sentinel Cores like you mentioned so now I know for sure. Thanks a ton.
@@KurapikachuR While it did take a bit to come up with (it took several hours over the course of a week to theorycraft and refine), the main reason it took a month and a half to come out was that I took a break from the game for a bit. I just didn’t have motivation to do the fight, especially since I wanted to get a more “normal” clear first (which I’m very glad I did, I had a lot of fun with the fight).
I meant to put it in the comment that goes over the strat, whoops. You can steal them from any "_ elemental" enemy. The best spot to find them endgame is in the lake in borderfall. If you get 5 of them, you can trade them in for one of the additional scholar licenses.
So i don’t really get how Aebers Reckoning works…? With your recommended equipment, Throne is too strong, so I switched to the recommended stuff. But that made her way too weak, so I added a couple speed boosting weapons as well, but that did nothing?
Sorry for the late reply, but you can only get the benefits of the secondary stats of one weapon at a time (the one you are currently using). This means that the only weapon you need speed on for an aeber's build is your dagger (hence vengeful knife) and additional weapons won't help in the slightest. Note that this only applies to stats, weapon effects titled "equip effect" (e.g. battle-tested blade, sunshadow staff) will apply regardless of which weapon you are using. If the damage output is too high, don't do all of the things that I recommend at once, do some of them at a time until the damage works out. For example, start by unequipping her armour (maybe even just one piece of it) or using a worse dagger, and if it's still too much damage, do more of the things. Skipping the ancient cursed talisman should only be done in extreme cases (which I'd imagine yours is not). As for how much damage you need to look out for, the top 2 tentacles need to take more than 80k damage, but less than the damage cap.
@ Ok thanks but I already figured out what I did wrong. The only thing I really needed to do was give Throne a weaker dagger and nothing else. I overheard that I only had to do one of the options below to weaken her when she was too strong

Hikari used the divine protection skill to give him 4 stacks of the invincibility buff. Think of invincibility like sidestep, but it works for any source of damage. 4 stacks is enough to absorb the 4 hellbounds. As for tentacle bash, that attack doesn't actually do damage, but sets your HP to 1 instead. Since temenos was already at 1 HP, it doesn't appear to do any damage to him.
