    Excellent Video Anthony. I will be needing to make some shaker doors for a bathroom remodel I'm gonna do. I plan to use the techniques you showed to build the doors.

    Great job Anthony!
    I make my cabinet doors similarly, but I use dowels with my dowelmax instead of dominoes. I've never been a fan of typical cope and stick style doors; I feel the stub tenons aren't strong enough for a long lasting joint.
    I normally did the panel slots on the router table but I'm going to give the router and edge guide technique a try. It looks pretty streamlined with clamping up all the rails and stiles to be grooved. Looking forward to the next one.

      Funny, I agree about not trusting stub tendons and I use dowels now. But, I was just thinking, I have 3 rentals that I made all of the kitchen doors with stub tendons. One of these places has been a rental for 13 years and I’ve never had a door break. So, we probably are over think it.

    Great explanation of the technique Anthony, much clearer than other videos on YT. Question, what type of router bit are you using to make the grooves?

    Hi. Congratulations for your work and videos. Thank you very much ! I have learned a lot. Please let me know how long take for you to build a cabinet like that and how much it cost, roughly. Thank you.

      It takes me about a week to build this and another few days for the finishing. I can’t discuss pricing for the privacy of my clients.

      @@AnthonyScolaro1 thank you for replay. How much a joiner could earn in a week , working 10h/day 6days/week ? Roughly ? Thx

      @@ionutonea1537 that all depends on your area, what type of work you do, what your work is actually worth(skill level) and what your clients are willing to pay. I do all custom work and I build all the cabinets myself and most times I even make the moldings myself so my prices are much different than a normal carpenter or contractor who uses all pre-built stuff and just installs it. That’s a question only you can answer by trial and error on your journey.

      @@AnthonyScolaro1 you are doing a great work and you have s great skils. I wish. I leave in UK and in my area people are using a lot of laminated kitchens. The MFT/3 is great. I just ordered ine plus CTM26 dust extractor with ,also, oreseparator dust. Again, your videos are lovely . I am thinking to do kitchens from.oak and marble but I nedd time to project that. I had a joinery workshop with new Felder machines tilt spindle moulder, 400mm thicknesser & planer, sliding table saw; until pandemic. I still have the machines. But at the moment I do just mibile woodworking jibs - part of house renovation small busines.
      GOD bless you !

    I always struggle with hinges. Drawers are easier for me. Not sure why. I just struggle getting the doors put on.

    I noticed your in-line clamping elements. They are not Festool brand and would imagine are not Festool priced.
    Are they any good?

    • @AnthonyScolaro1
      @AnthonyScolaro1  ปีที่แล้ว

      They’re really good but a little too thick, I would have liked them to be only about 16mm, so they could sit below 18mm and 19mm plywood. That would have been better when sanding, not really a problem for me because I have a Festool vacsys. I have the amazon link for them in the description if you want to check them out.

    19:58 just a little confused here .. why is there a domino visible on the bottom left style? Did you make a mistake somewhere perhaps .. or .. I just don't get what this domino is 'fixing' ??? 🤔
