The up&up mineral sunscreen cast is CRAZY I used it on a camping trip where I didn’t care about my appearance much but yeah would never wear it on my face otherwise lol

For my oily skin, I do love the Australian Gold sunscreen.
I really appreciated your reference to refraining from shaving in the armpits, if that area is sensitive. I cannot abide any deodorant in my pits. Years I ago I did a patch test on my wrist in the Body Shop on their natural deodorant. Almost immediately painful hives/welts erupted. The only product that I seem to be able to tolerate is the fragrance free crystal spray, hypochlorous acid spray and the best has been your suggestion of washing with benzyl peroxide cleanser. My husband suggested that shaving might be aggravating that sensitive skin but the problem with not shaving is not the look for me (I'm 67 :) ) but odour will cling to hair stubbornly. I don't grow a lot of hair in my arm pits anyway so it's not often that I have shave. I slather lots of pure aloe vera gel over the area after shaving and leave it like that overnight. I've had fungus outbreaks there too which Canesten immediately fixes. It's such a delicate fussy part of my body. The rest of the skin on my body is so resilient by comparison!

I use the Up and Up mineral sunscreen when I go running. It does have a cast, but it offers great protection while running. The cast doesn’t bother me since no one really sees me.

Thanks for these adventures…I have really reviewed what I was suggested to use by my aesthetician ( some products from Advanced Rejuvenating Concepts), but I am also very glad you explain so well what our skin needs and how to obtain actives from reasonably priced products..I kept a few of the ARC products, but have been swapping out some items for more affordable items like Cerave cleanser and tub moisturizer…and Neutrogena Rapid Repair..thanks and please keep including skin care advice for darker skinned folks - our skin is very pigment sensitive due to our melanin - and some actives aren’t as cool with our skin. I do use a chemical sunscreen, but I wish there were more mineral sunscreen without casts for us…Thanks thanks..
Old enough to remember the days of Nads infomercials. The strips and Nads pen makes doing the eyesbrows and lips easy
Pacifica has a retinoid cream that is retinoid, melatonin and mushroom! As well has had quinoa for antioxidants and amino acids. Now it does have flower extracts but it’s super nice and my skin is sensitive and didn’t personally have issues!
Also have you heard of Ferver skincare yet? Would love to hear your thoughts on it!

Different subject- this is not a new product, but just started using Aveeno’s Restorative Skin Therapy Oat Repairing Cream. Soothing, somewhat occlusive but absorbs quickly. My latest fave moisturizer, especially if I apply about 30 minutes before my tretinoin. Seems to help with irritation.
The best skin care products to pick from the Dollar Tree just got way easier following Dr. Dray’s visit to Dollar Tree . I sure did learn a lot about what ingredients to look out for and the do”s and don’t for our skin. Plus, on a budget it still can be done.

You should do one of these at marshals or winners. They have a lot off skin care products that seem cheap for what they are but I never know if I should trust them since a lot of them are brands I haven’t heard of before.

I had issues with the Australian Gold as well. I have purchased the Sun Bum stick formula for a more sunblock look for my face during our vacation. I'll report back on the formula!!!

The dermo had me using Nailtique Formula 2 on unaffected nails. What is Nailtique and what is it good for. Fungus is all gone. Should I keep using Nailtique? Your audience might enjoy a program about nail health. Thank You
Nailtique is a nail builder, we used to sell it at the beauty supply store in the 90’s. It worked really well.

I thought the same thing about Tula skincare. I first saw Tula on QVC a few years ago. Never felt compelled to use them.

I used compound w for my plantar but what helped was filing it like you said. Clean it with peroxide putting the compound w liquid on it and covering it with duct tape. Lift after a week and it significantly went down. I had a stubborn one took two weeks of doing that but no more plantar wart.

I was just looking online at the Peach & Lily C Seurm Dark Spot Corrector. Hate to add something else to my routine, and have tried many C serums, but the seem to not do too much for me. I think I’ll just stick with the Good Molecules dark spot corrector. It’s helping a bit, but the only thing that will get rid of my sun damage completely is laser treatments. Thanks for maneuvering us through the never ending sea of products out there. Really helps us weed through the good, bad, and the ugly ! ☺️💜☺️

The Sun Bum Glow completely broke my face out, gave me a terrible reaction, bumps all over my face and made my eyelids and under eyes swell terribly.... I LOOOVED the way it made my face look though, such a good one.. I am so bummed I can't use it.

I liked the SunBum Glow 30 so much I bought a backup and if it goes on sale again I will order 2 more. This is a really great tint for fair skin. I am not sure this would work for skin that is anything other than fair or light.

I really like the Sun Bum Glow sunscreen! It is comparable to super goop glow screen in my opinion, although more lightweight and less “glowy”. I sometimes prefer the sunbum though, because I feel glow screen sometimes pills on me.
Same! The supergoop version pills on me. I use it as a highlighter now.
Does it irritate/sting the eyes at all? I haven’t tried it.

Thank you! I was at Target recently for the 1st time since last year, cause just get the basics online shipped to me. I was never so frustrated shopping. The isle changes were aggravating as they were L shaped and circles, and felt like being in a maze. And many of the plastic things on the L's or circle areas did NOT have the isle letter/numbers, that I was directed to. OMG! It was a nightmare and took so much time asking for assistance over and over and then to go and find shelves so empty, in the cosmetics and other things I was trying to locate, for example PUR water filter replacements, etc. Empty empty empty everywhere. It took four asks and a walk with me to get ONE item off my list. I complained and asked When is a better time to Come to have the shelves stocked? I was told it's always the same....by those that were stocking and at the register. Wow! I felt like it was the beginning of Covid time when we couldn't get TP, Tissues or Bleach. Something is going on. I used to loooove going to Target stores, but life without a car made it too difficult. Then they did a lot of icky changes. Oh Well!
They are one of the worst these days, won’t shop there until they grow up and weed out

With all the buzz on titanium dioxide (skittles and tampons) what are your thoughts on it as a sunscreen? Obviously you're fine with it or you would have said something but I have heard so many people point to sunscreen as being "toxic" because of it. I use chemical sunscreen, bought a bag of skittles, and didn't switch my tampons, so I really dgaf, but I just wanted to know your thoughts.
I love that Tula sunscreen it leaves my skin looking so glowy and I have gotten so many compliments when I’m bare faced wearing that sunscreen it makes me sad you don’t approve :(
I've been using tweezers to pluck stragglers out of my underarms for years. I got sick of trying to dig into the contours under there with my razor. Tweezers work well.

It's fun to go shopping w/Andrea. As for Kopari, I've used their deodorant for the past 2 yrs & it has worked great. But ! I recently tried their shower oil & was not favorably impressed. Just because 1 product in a brand works for you doesn't mean all in the brand will be liked.
The hard wax beads are so much better than using something like nads strips in my opinion. A lot less painful

I bought Nads when it first came out. It hurt bad. I actually bled a bit so I quit using it. I have permanent hair loss in a few spots where I applied it. Years later I tried it again it the formula had changed.
I have tried the Up & Up mineral sunscreen. The cast is ridiculous..... 😑 It is so thick that it looks like Desitin diaper rash cream, very sticky texture also. It was also difficult to cover with makeup. I recently purchased the florence setting spray because it has no added fragrance. I like it but, the spray head is really bad, like being sprayed with a firehose! 😕

The up & up chemical sunscreen is a holy grail for me. A little sticky when applying, but it sets quickly, and doesn't sting my eyes.
Totally agree with you. It's exactly like Desitin diaper rash cream...horrible. Gave it to my daughter....she hated it . She gave it to her friend and she threw it out!

I can't believe Bumble & Bumble is at Target. I have used B&B's Bond Building Repair Treatment and it is great. Much better than Olaplex 8. Their Heat Shield Thermal Protection Mist is to die for. Great brand. I'll always buy from Sephora though. I like the samples, trials, and points way too much!!
