Exactly what I needed to hear right now that sums up exactly how I feel. I have so much love to give always but am so used to never being heard and it somehow always feels like it's my fault. It's always felt that way. There's this girl I reconnected with from high school that I always used to admire and she's such an incredible person, everything from that point almost felt scripted. I never could've imagined her liking me back because I was always the weird antisocial kid in high school but she did (we reconnected 3 years after hs). She said there was even a moment back in high school on our school camping trip where we had a moment and she wanted to kiss me but didn't, which I only didn't figure out because she was someone everyone admired and I was the guy that literally nobody did. We couldn't date because she got an internship in the states for the summer that would follow the time I asked her out and we already study in different cities. She was incredibly kind and mature to not want to date out of not wanting to hurt me or for us to ruin how we saw each other because we wanted to force things when they couldn't happen. The sad part is though she's such an old soul in such a digital age and rarely checks her phone, is always reading, studying, knitting, or bird watching. So whenever I hear from her and respond with pure joy, it's followed by radio silence. I can't help but feel like there's something I've done wrong always but she doesn't mean to. It just hurts though to keep getting mixed signals.
