  • We're back up mining the claim again and still haven't found another good pay streak. :(
    So we decided it would be fun to briefly explain how a gold dredge works!
    The "dredge 101" segment starts around 3:04 if you'd like to jump straight to that part.
    ALSO during that segment you'll get your first look at our custom homemade 4 inch dredge the "franken dredge". We know it looks silly but we love it, and it has served us well and dredged up a fair bit of gold :)
    As always thanks for watching! Feel free to subscribe if you like, and leave any comments or questions you have down below and we'll try to answer them.

    Hey dudes, cool video. I like the name "Frankendredge" :), that's AK how I know it, selfmade... . We badly miss Alaska... Hope we can come 2022 again. Keep on prospecting, you sure will find another paystreak. We have the same situation here now, it's not easy sometimes. Keep on! Hello from a Swiss gold prospector

      Ahh your videos look awesome sir. Can’t wait to make my way through your library of content. Keep up the good work.
      Hopefully we all find heavy pans soon.

    Great video lads 👍 love the underwater shots. Its well worth prospecting those spots first before lugging those dredge about. Do you guys test pan these spots first?

    • @twodudesonedredge
      @twodudesonedredge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We don’t really but we are on fairly proven ground. I don’t know if panino would help much due to the overburden being so deep.

    like your videos but you said its a keene pump and motor setup thats a proline as the label says

    • @twodudesonedredge
      @twodudesonedredge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ll double check with Brennan but pretty sure the compressor was a proline product. Definitely Keene pump and motor. The flare and jet I’m not 100% sure about.

    • @twodudesonedredge
      @twodudesonedredge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good eyes Jeff! The air compressor is a proline T80, and our water pump on that 4" is indeed a Keene engineering model, same with the jet log and flare. Forgot to explain the air system we'll have to get around to that in a future video. Thanks - Brennan
