This is really terrifying, because the only character in the game who was ever confirmed to be stronger than Fu Hua is Kevin, and even he seems to be having some problems with her now (though it was said that he's far weaker than 50k years ago).
Kevin stay too long in the quantum world and not in his best condition, while Fu Hua had been recovery by Otto to best condition, of course, Kevin will struggle.
Flaming Lizard She said Kevin was stronger in her state. Fu hua said she is the strongest being ever to exist. She’s a literal goddess, but back then, she was kinda weak (60% of her power) cuz she couldn’t control her divine keys.
Flaming Lizard Fu hua is a literal deity. A deity gives hersscher their powers. The reason why fu hua “lost” to HoE is because she couldn’t control all of her divine keys fully, yet. Fu hua literally said she is the strongest. But we don’t know fully yet, instead of debating eachother why don’t we wait to see if Fu hua or Kevin is stronger in the main story.
To me, the Chinese version was better. She sounded more deranged and out of control in that version. In the Japanese version she comes off too docile for someone who has possibly been turned into a herrscher.

Japanese Minami Fu Hua on the other hand went straight into deep crazy. She laughs in "HYAHEHE" evil laughter. I mean, I do like the Chinese version slightly more. Though that's because she's got the docile performance in that one.

Logically: It shouldn’t be this way Realistically: AAA titles and movies are more about Profit and producing stuff quickly, while games like Honkai Impact are smaller and Mihoyo ain’t releasing games yearly so they have more time to polish their game, expand their universe and interact with the community more. Smaller companies such as Respawn Entertainment (R.I.P) Mihoyo, and many more usually produce way better games and even their games look graphically better, the animations and trailers are longer and more fleshed out while looking beautiful... Chinese Fu Hua sounds way too similar to the other Herrschers with that echo in her voice. In the Japanese Dub, Fu Hua still has some of that echo but her voice is way different to make it unique. Her Chinese Dub makes her sound a little like Sirin and maybe even the Herrshcer of Lighting, so that’s why I like the Japanese one better. Eh... preferences are for each of us, I like both so I can’t really tell anyone that their wrong to like either Dub more than the other.
But whether the dub fit the animation, I think Chinese did better(in this animation only tho) since the way Fu Hua's voice fit how it was animated. As for the JP dub, it was really good but I think it was in the choice of words though. Her "perished" line was along "kieteshimaimashita" though I think it could've been "kieta" though I'm not sure pls give me some points and correct it tho

Video games are also “animation.” They release “chapters” for their story as that’s what it’s called, they release “CG’s” at a certain point in the Chapter. Durandal being flung out a building and screaming, shoutout Mamiko Noto for that scream (I think it's her, Durandal sounds like Scathach from FGO) along with Fu Hua standing on top of the patented sun sword and the shock on Kevin's face. I never expected that I would be downright terrified of Fu Hua... What immortality does to a person man.. That said, the trailer really made me terrified, the voice, the music, it sends shivers down your spine. Mihoyo don’t hold back with their story and it shows.

Playing through the chapter that this is related to, now we know why this is unfolding in such a way that makes Fu Hua the next villain. What would YOU do if you found out that your repressed memories revealed a past full of lost loved ones, failed missions, being forced to stay alive to carry out yet another mission when all of your old friends are long gone, and to put the cherry on top, being betrayed by all those around you constantly? I dunno about you, but I'd be LIVID. I would want to destroy the world too, and create a new one.

But also; i've always found bizarre that an ice guy like Kevin uses the most powerful fire weapon of the universe (I know he can control temperature so he doesn't get expent, unlikely Siegfried, but it's still weird. Due to how honkai was stomping the crap out of humanity, Dr MEI performed extremely thorough testing on all agents, to the point where it was literally impossible to hide capabilities from any member of their group. What Fu Hua is showing is NEW power, something she never had before. Besides, that sword has half of the Herrscher of Flame's core, so it is hot enough to melt things that normally can't be melted. Comparing the phoenix battlesuit to that blade is like comparing a bon fire to a supernova.

One question I have. The Judgement of Shamash - or Might of An'utu - is a sword made from the Herscherr of Fire. It burns so hot that its killed several Kaslanas in the past and Kevin's ambient cold body temperature means he's literally the only person who can wield it safely... Given that the temperature of the flame tends to correspond with the colour, why haven't there been blue or white flames? Or is it a 'shut up, this is a videogame with space magic that doesn't have to make sense' questions?
Coming back to this animation cause it's my favorite 🥰🥰 HoS is my all time fave in honkai atm, and seeing Durandal getting a deserved ass beating only makes this better
Lol, summed up the difference pretty well. The Chinese versions feels more like a resentful Yurei, attached to a desire it coudln't fufill in life, while the Japanese one feels like "Ok, guess I'll destroy the universe then, and after that back to my nap"

honestly, I like her voice sm in this trailer. more than in-game voicelines. the "watashi wa subete wo kaemasu" in the end was sooo cool. feels different from playable HoS. I would've done anything for this voice to be in-game.
I like how HoS was sort of the voice of the fans with how much she despised Otto. Like, the first scene we see of her, she ripped off his face and I'm pretty sure no one complained about it. She even pointed some stuff out like "Oh if I just killed Kallen none of this would've happened" which really puts things into perspective.
What really ticks me off is they already have couples of these quality short animations yet we're still forced to watch the same animation(that kiana vs jet plane) over and over while updating smh....

I think I spent about 300$ to 400$ on Honkai and it wasn’t all in one go it was like 20$ every few months

I like how no one mentions that Phoenix just no sells the blast from An-Utu and is perched on the blade, like a bird, while Kevin is wielding it.
Because Phoenix is the hottest thing there is, Kevin's lil firesword has nothing on that.

Maybe she didn't control, cuz she didn't fully want. Now, resentment is quite a power source, if you let yourself be bent to vengeance, that is. But also; i've always found bizarre that an ice guy like Kevin uses the most powerful fire weapon of the universe (I know he can control temperature so he doesn't get expent, unlikely Siegfried, but it's still weird. He is not supposed to be the one that uses it to its fullest extent, in my opinion. That's why, trying to kill a Phoenix with it is madness, at least to me)

Due to how honkai was stomping the crap out of humanity, Dr MEI performed extremely thorough testing on all agents, to the point where it was literally impossible to hide capabilities from any member of their group. What Fu Hua is showing is NEW power, something she never had before.
Besides, that sword has half of the Herrscher of Flame's core, so it is hot enough to melt things that normally can't be melted. Comparing the phoenix battlesuit to that blade is like comparing a bon fire to a supernova.
Even with the JP dub that "King!" delivery is still godly. Both dubs did a amazing job

One question I have. The Judgement of Shamash - or Might of An'utu - is a sword made from the Herscherr of Fire. It burns so hot that its killed several Kaslanas in the past and Kevin's ambient cold body temperature means he's literally the only person who can wield it safely...
Given that the temperature of the flame tends to correspond with the colour, why haven't there been blue or white flames? Or is it a 'shut up, this is a videogame with space magic that doesn't have to make sense' questions?
