I feel like Leylah's main purpose is to find Senadina in this countless Mars reset and save her (not the revival of Mars or something). Anyway, from what we know so far. Kiana met Senadina, and that she is an incomplete cocoon of Mars. Maybe that's why Mars got completely destroyed and not reset because there's no finality of Mars to supervise it. And maybe this Mars quantum computer is more than preserving the humanity of Mars but more of completing the cocoon idk. DS met Senadina in one samsara, having a dance to complete the covenant and received astral rings. But after completing this certain samsara stage, the world isn't what we expected. Senadina is also missing from the memories of all. I wonder if Leylah got to do with it, or it's more on Vita's side. Vita seems to know Senadina, too. It can also be that she'll use this to bargain with Leylah. Or Leylah stole this completed stage of samsara away for selfish reasons.
Big problem with that is that they leave so much important details just to make the anime adaptation as comfortable as possible that you’re gonna feel the need to play the game to understand. If they do a spinoff like Arcane it can work, but even some of the “best” adaptations like the Hunger Games or mangas turned into animes leave important info
@ Some things would need to be streamlined, yes (especially with the first several chapters having both gameplay and manga), but overall I think they could tell at least the main story of Part 1 without _too_ much trouble.

Leylah only just appeared at the very end of the current chapter, which ended right then and there on a cliffhanger. This animation is the first time we even got her name. We don't know much more than you do. Some more context (major spoilers ): With Senadina gone after Sonque defeated the Will of Shadow and the Mars Quantum Computer having reset the cycle, Theresa and Vita joined the Dreamseeker in their investigation and entered the simulation together. While DS and Theresa were gathering information and talking to this cycle's versions of the Shus, who were now living in Ouxia, Vita grew impatient with the two "playing house" with them and, in typical Vita fashion, decided to do her own thing without telling anyone. She startet a massive Attack on Ouxia which led to the appearance of Leylah, most likely to intervene, which is exactly what Vita was banking on. And that's where the chapter ends. Leylah also seems to have some connection to the Dreamseeker since she herself noted that Leylah looks exactly like her.

Hi3rd Hoyomix team is a whole different breed when it comes to making EDM soundtrack, it's like they were meant to do EDM soundtrack but only for Honkai series. Part 2 story of Hi3rd doesn't feel like a stretch to make the game continue, instead it feels more like a continuation to the exploration of Honkaiverse, and this has begin the moment Otto observes Teyvat, and Welt join HSR protagonist lineup. Hi3rd is on its way for a new peak with this upgrade of production quality.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if HoYo made HI3rd into an anime, I would absolutely watch it.
