Your way of parenting amazes me. The way Finn let Quinn open up presents without causing a scene or pushing him away roughly or at all was great to see. Amazing how much self control a four year old can have thanks to what their parents have taught them. Also Finn has a very loving personality so maybe he just wanted to share the experience of opening presents with a friend.

All he sees is the camera his mom enthusiastically interacts with and wants to be apart of the attention his mother is giving to the camera. He does not understand the future ramifications of having his intimate moments broadcasted to everyone

As someone whose mom also threw kick-butt birthday parties growing up… thank you for doing this for him. I promise you he will remember it forever. My memory is garbage (because I’ve had depression for a decade. One of the sweetest parts about this vlog is Christopher showing Flynn magic tricks, and Flynn being so impressed that he HAS to show Parker. And he’s SO excited, even though I’m sure Parker has seen these tricks so many times, and even said “Oh I know this one!” but still watched and was happy with Flynn.
These kids are so incredible, i can’t imagine growing up in a place that is so surrounded by love and appreciation and support.

I remember this time last year Colleen and Eric had been finally able to bring Wesley home and how Colleen was crying in the car about feeling like a bad mom because Maisy was still in the NICU and she felt like she was not giving enough time to Flynn. Now one year later, the twins are happy, healthy, one year olds and Flynn just turned four. I'm so happy for this little Ballinger-Stocklin clan and how they were able to overcome the tough times 💗💗

COLLEEN!! You should get a bearded dragon for Flynn!! I’m a beardie mom and they’re very calm and easy to handle, never bites, and pretty easy to care for once you get their husbandry set up right. It would be perfect to help him learn compassion for animals (i know you have other pets but he seems to really love little critters like that!) and when he gets older he could help care for it and that would teach him responsibility. Just a thought, of course do your own research if you do think about it, but they’re a great reptile for beginners and it would be so adorable to see him play and bond with it :)

Is it common to not serve food at birthday parties? In my culture that’s unheard of .. we typically are obliged to serve full meals for the guests (which is annoying and costly!) so I love that you can plan amazing parties without having to worry about feeding the guests.. and actually focus on the fun stuff like games and animals!!! And nobody minds!!
It’s customary in the US to provide food at birthday parties. Usually pizza, sandwiches, tacos or something easy like that at the very least!
