After saving money for a long time, a couple weeks ago I FINALLY bought the Faber-Castell Polychromos 120 case. This is the first time I saw them and I wanted to share this moment with you.

► ABOUT ME:
Hi! My name is Wendy Frederiks and I'm a drawing artist from the Netherlands.
Ever since I was a little girl I've always loved to draw, so a couple of years ago I decided to turn my passion into my work! I took a course in 'Illustrative Drawing' , really worked on my skills, and finished the course in 2014. I'm still improving with every piece I make and over time I've learned that I will probably never stop learning. I'd like to share my journey with others and that is why I made my Facebook Page and this TH-cam Channel. Hope you enjoy!

this IS my dream set...if i would have something like this i would honestly keep it in a safe and just stare at it on special occasions.

Not me!!!🤣 I've spent years saving for this set!!!🙈 I'm just going to buy the specific pencil if I need it... Never doing this again!!!🤣 That's the reason I bought the wooden case instead of the tin one.. Hoping it would last me a lifetime... so far so good!😜

I can't describe how I felt when I bought this, received it and opened the box....

@@WendyFrederiksArt aww.. btw here some are like for you know 12,000 and the other ones are like for 2000-3000.. so ya
@@WendyFrederiksArt what a lovely box you got there! I am happy for you! I recently bought a box of their Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils, ( 12) but their box is a manky cardboard one, not even a sturdy one, and it did not close well. These are quite expensive pencils, too.

Wooow so many beautiful colors 😍😍 those pencils are very, very good! I don’t have & use them but I saw those pencils often on Instagram few years back 😊 I’m so used to it to draw digitally 😅😂
It's been years and every time I open this case I'm still mesmerized by it... It has something so special to me 🥹! It was really expensive, but totally worth it, you know?! Although.. if you draw digitally you don't need pencils... Hihi!🤭

Haha! Well.. I honestly can't share my opinion on the prismacolors cause I don't personally have them, but I gotta agree with you that this set, especially in the wooden case, looks absolutely amazing!! It's been years now and I'm still very much in love with it every time I open it!🥹🥰 If you're ever able to buy them, I really recommend it! However, if you live in a tiny space, the set in the tin box might be more user-friendly cause it takes up less space!🤗

OMG!!😍 It's my dream to get this set of polychromos but the budget is such nightmare. 😅😅
For now I just get the specific colors individually for my drawings.
It was indeed really expensive!! I saved my money for a few years before I got it!😲 I still love the set AND the wooden case it comes in.. But if I may advice you, make sure you have enough space for it IF you want to buy it! Cause I found it isn't the most easy thing to take with you or to store it... 😅 As you already may know the same set is also available in a metal tin box with 3 layers. Exactly the same pencils but another, much smaller, case and also a little bit cheaper! That is definitely something to consider if you're thinking of buying it!! Especially if the budget is a problem! But yeah, everytime I open it it still feels special.. There's nothing like it!😍🥰
I truly hope one day you'll be able to buy it!! I can tell you it's worth the wait!!😊
P.s.: Just buying the specific colors is a great option if your budget is low and you still want to use it!😃 Cause as with every pencil box.. there's always a lot of colors that you don't really use or need... 😅

I don't know where you're from but where I live it's about 240 euros atm.. I'm not sure for which price I bought it back then.. I hope this answered your question!😃🥰
