79-82 was the flat hatch. 83-86 are the bubble backs. That’s a turbo hood scoop. Capris are awesome . Love seeing different and being different. Caleb I’m happy to see you posted that video you said you would when I spotted the picture you posted I saw the steering wheel😁
OMG I am so JELLY!!! Love the Capri, bubble hatch or regular. This one is put together so well. Inside and out it is just flawless. That Kona Blue looks so good on it! I'll say it again, Love the Capris and I am jealous!!
I had an 83 RS 5.0 T TOP 4 speed manual transmission Capri. Interior was rough and the paint was dull but the 4 speed manual transmission was awesome. The difference in the first gear between it and a 5 speed was something I really liked. Instead of red lining around 15 mph it was close to 35 mph before I had to shift. Had a 86 Mustang GT T TOP 5 SPEED and a super super nice 1993 Mustang Feature Car Chrome Yellow that looked brand new. Long story but the COVID-19 outbreak took it away from me and I still haven't gotten over her loss. There's no pharmaceutical antidepressants that can match the joy of just sitting in a 5.0 Fox Body. No matter what life threw me it was all better hearing the 5.0 sound off. Freaking love this Capri. Nice job and whoever the owner is I am sure they are happy

big props for keeping it Mercury in a Mercury👍👍👍👍, bubble hatch Capri's just do it for me, its a fox but almost completly different from a mustang and thats what makes them so desirable. no ground effects, no cheese graters, just perfection.

I love the fox body but the Capri is a ugly ass car. It's almost as bad a a 75 cobra ( glorified pinto). It even reminds me of a 75 in some ways.
