Band-Maid always brings an ONSET of love, appreciation and happiness to their viewers. Why? Because they're so damn good -- good-natured, good-hearted, good-looking, and beyond good as writers, players and performers. Wow, right?!
BAND-MAID recently announced a new EP, to be released in the summer of 2022.
They will also be performing their biggest show ever on January 9th, 2023 at Tokyo Garden Theater.
That will be their "revenge" for the cancelled February 2021 Budokan concert.
Rick : I managed to get a ticket for Pre-US Okuji at Zepp Divercity Tokyo on Sep. 7. I am now an O-mei-shu Sama. Busy to commute between Foxhole and Pigeonhole. 🤣

Both BAND-MAID and BABYMETAL have performed there in the past.
It sounds like many of the Pre-US Okuji venues are nostalgic for BAND-MAID.
Seeing them in October. Washington DC. Most excited I've been to see a concert since I saw AC DC in 83. I saw the Who in 2019. That's 9 or 10 on my list of most anticipated and best concerts. I'm hoping the maids knock AC DC off their throne as best live band I've ever seen. If they hit top 5 I'll be happy! Great Reaction!
Yeah, BAND-MAID fans aren't your typical band fans. I totally understand what you are saying about American fans (American here) only knowing the lead vocalists name and maybe the lead guitarist, but not with this band. Each member really stands out and it's impossible to not want to know all of them. I mean, one look at MISA and you go, "WHO is that?!". Goes for all the members. I had to learn everything I could after only a few songs. But maybe that's just me...?

So you want Akane to hurt herself while playing the drums?
I never understood that take myself. I understand people loving that hat, it was one of the first things I noticed as well when I started with Band-Maid, but reading that it hurted her hair/head while playing makes it insane to me that she kept it as long as she did.
I'm sure she needs all the "processing" power she has to play songs like Black Hole without her being distracted with a hat pulling at her hair/head.
Edit:
What she can do is attaching it somewhere on her drumset. That might be a good compromise.
But she might actually hate that thing after wearing it so long.
@@MaartenT believe me, I know all about the reason why she abandoned hat as with many other facts about this band. I just always thought the hat was such a cool take on her personality as a "character" of the band that when she gave it up it seemed unnatural
@@MaartenT I will also say that if she did bring it back at least in a way you described would be epic in the sence that she knew fans wanted it back so decided to include it somewhere on the side lines just for the sake of it. The sence of humor in that would win me over for sure.
I would like to ask you to reaction to the heavy metal of Genesis with either "Paranoid", "Iron Man" or "Black Sabbath" of Black Sabbath. I would also like to see a casual reaction to Tony Iommi's guitar.
