Beautiful Crown Vicky!!! My 1956 Customline was the same blue color (Diamond Blue) and this video brought MANY memories!!! Nice to see someone else kept their engine compartment and undercarriage as clean as mine!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Probably the best walk around of a Crown Victoria ever and one of the just like new Crown Victorias I have ever seen it looks like it just came of the assembly line in 1956 except probably a bit better especially because of the paint job which appeared absolutely flawless and extremely well done no orange peel and extremely glossy. This Vic is pure perfection.
What gorgeous styling! Plenty of chrome especially the interior roof surround molding that matches the exterior trim. Just as attractive if not more so than the 1956 Mercury.
What character! what a beautiful automobile! one of the best designs Ford ever had. My first car was a '56 Vic (had a second one after that I acquired rust-free in California). I was in high school. I was only 17. It was 1965. The car was only 9 years old. It had rust problems and an oil leak... but I later fixed the rust and replaced the front fenders. And later dropped a 390 and a four speed into it and made a real hot rod. great memories. Never had a Crown Vic... they were more rare and out of my price range. Still love these vintage Fords. The one shown here is a thing of beauty to me.
I'm a big fan of the '56 chevy Bel Air and there's still a lot of them around because they made so many and they are so cool looking, and I have a few posted on my channel, but, I have to say I like the 56 Ford Crown Vic much better. It's more streamlined and stylish, and that angled side pillar post really adds to the streamlined look. Just a beautiful car.
I saw my first 56 ford Victoria when I was six years old. It was Love at first sight and I actually prayed that my Dad would buy one. My love never faded.....lol..did Dad buy one ...No , he never did
Vicente Fuentes they still do ! I have been a total Ford guy for the past 25 years 5 or 6 Fords in a row never any serious issues! But can’t say that about GM!!
I owned a 56 ford fairlane, back in 1971.It was pink and white two tone with the 272 original V8 engine with the 3 speed manual on the column.I feel awful also for letting that car go
My very first car was a beat up, hot rodded up 56’ crown Vick. Previous owner had put in a floor shifter and a 351 Cleveland V8. It did nothing but GO. But it had a tendency to wander at highway speeds. Paid $175.00 for it in 1967
When I was 16 years old I own one. It was the exact same color and model but had it taken from me by my dad after the judge said ”You again ”for drag racing. Now that really hurts even after all these years.
really great video. my father owned one of these with the thunderbird engine. sorry to say but he flip it. same color and interior. he really loved that car. so did we.
Had a 55 Crown Vic .. Beautiful car. White over baby blue. Duals sweet sounding ride with glass packs. That was 40 years ago. Be worth 3/4 times more now.
I really like this Crown Vicky. What a great car.I think I would have kept the original brake system.the dual master cyl is about the only thing that dates this car as a resto/mod.
I might buy a car like this when I'm older but yellow and white. Maybe not now but when I'm a dependant and fully moved out of my parents house. My dad recalls my great grandfather having one in the 50s it was exactly like this one! Same one. He use to race motorcycles back in the 30s. In this exact car my father had asked my great grandmother "how do you know when to shift in gears" cuz back then automatic transmissions we're a new thing. My great grandmother said "well you just feel it honey." It was a 55 or 56, but thiers something about 1956 and 57 cars that look awesome idk why. Very Late 50s is when everything just started to become less bulky and Jetson like. I like today's car too...but only sports cars.. '
Absolutely gorgeous no one ever told me if I like Chevys you can’t like Fords but as it turns out when it comes to the 50’s and 60’s I love them both!!!! As of 25 years ago I became totally a FORD GUY! The 55 and 56 crown Vic is one of my favorites!! A lovely car!!!!!
I have a 1955 Ford crown Victoria. With Crome, it’s black and white. Needs to be restored. My husband and mine dating car back in 1968. We were married for 44 years he sadly passed from brain cancer in 2012. He bought this car in 67 for 150. A fortune back then for him. He was putting himself through college.
Saw another video of a 58 Chevy Bel Air 4 Dr hardtop that had 3 on the tree with a 348 CID V8, power steering, power brakes, power windows and air conditioning. That was an unusual combination. My question was what happened to the Powerglide?
nice that the after market gauges are working, but wondering why you go to all that trouble to get that car looking so beautiful and not get the original gauges working, specifically the temperature gauge and the gen light
I bought a 56 ford vic brand new, The engine was a red-orange color, They were nice looking cars but Ford produced many lemons back then. They didn't hold up as good as a chevy.
The '55-56 full sized Fords(there were NO compacts or even mid-sized e.g. Chevelle sized) were in my opinion much prettier and stylish than the '56 Chevy. They were just more streamlined and had much more eye appeal, at least in my book. Mercury(described by some as a "big" Ford) also turned out some very stylish cars in the mid-fifties. That basic Ford Fairlane(not the Crown model) with a 312 T-Bird engine was a hotter car than the '55-56 Chevys as well. I'm not a committed fan of one or the other, BTW. I just call 'em like I see 'em.
I had a !950 . 1953 and a 1958 ford and they were all great cars. I never had any problems with them and loved each and every one. I wish I had any one of them today. I can't stand the imports like Nissan , Etc. You can send them all to the junk yard. I would never buy a Japanese car for any reason.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHEN I WAS BORN GRANDPA GEORGE PICKED ME N MA UP AND DROVE US HME FROM HOSPITAL IN HIS. 1956 BRAND NEW...RED N WHITE .I WAS IN MANY YEARS AFTER WITH HIM ..TO GOOD OL DAYS
Que hermoso, me encanta hasta el color, guao yo un carro así en mi país, lástima que no tenga pero ni un dólar para comprarlo, saludos cordiales desde Panamá
55s were great but the chrome scheme on the 56 was awesome. The trim was wider and the color choices were much better. The 55 was mostly black and white, red and white ,solid colors or two tone beige and brown. The solid orange was usually on the custom or business model. It wasn't that nice. Of course solid colors were available on the Victoria or Crown Victoria. The 56 featured any color you wanted or two toned colors of your choice. Chevy white was called snowshoe white on Fords. Other manufacturers offered several choices but you could special order a color owned by another company. Case in point was the movie car, Christine that used the Ford red and white two tone in the movie. In reality, I'm not sure it was available in 58. A 58 Plymouth with Ford colors is easy for a movie. In 77 when Christine was made, Ford mixed the special red and white paint for the movie since it wasn't available in stores. This is actually touched on in the movie when the cop asks Arnie where he found the paint since it wasn't available in 77. The 7 cars used in the movie were all painted with the Ford colors with Ford's permission and licensing. A lot of classic cars are painted with odd colors today because the original colors aren't available anymore.
These Have Become As Popular ,If Not More Than the THUNDERBIRDS Of Same Years.Crown Vic's.Had the Same MTR.as THUNDERBIRDS.My Parents Gave Me Their 57 Reg.Fairlane 4 Door,S Ame COLOR, As A Grad..Present Early in My Senior Year,Even the 292 in It Was Strong. Was Kidded A Lot From My Friend ,That Had His 57 Fairlane 500 SKYLINER, Believe it Was Called,That Had the Folding Hdtp. That Folded Into Trunk.
I love the 55 and 56 Ford Crown Victorias always wanted one just can't afford it but I do have a 1972 Mercedes hurt wheel builder been sitting for about 15 years black and color of blue might do before she'll will here pretty soon or try to trade for a crown
Thats a good one because it hasnt been modified with junk like most of them has. That engine though (Yblock) would look much better with the original gloss black valve covers though.
In 1968 I had a nice 56 Ford Club sedan.I traded a 65 Ducati 125(I think)...to a friend..I wasn't much of a mechanic then,I parked it because it wouldn't start.A neighbor needed a starter I sold him one off my 56,then junked car,The starter was bad😪😪,...refunded 5.00 to neighbor...it was 312 t bird engine,my friend had converted it to a 3 spd on flr,It makes me sick it was a nice car....Everytime I see a 56 Ford....grrrr,...But this is really nice!.
Beautiful Crown Vicky!!! My 1956 Customline was the same blue color (Diamond Blue) and this video brought MANY memories!!! Nice to see someone else kept their engine compartment and undercarriage as clean as mine!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Beautiful inside and out, my husband hade 1956 2 tone green, mint on top, dark green on bottom. He taught me our to drive a 3 on the tree.
My Pappy had a 56 Ford with a 312 cid add the rectangular exhaust tips that came out the bumper and on the side and had the Thunderbird V8 emblem
this was one of most beautiful cars ford ever built.
John I agree... so many beautiful American cars from the fifties....57 Thunderbird, the Oldsmobile 88 and so on.Les Griffiths Australia

Yeah and that list is small!
For me this is my favorite Ford car ever built, it's so beautiful and a special car
Topped only by th3e 1957 Mercury and Lincoln, or the 1959 Pontiac.
My favorite car of all-time beautifully constructed just a magnificent example of a true classic legend.
I had a 1956 town sedan. Arizona car in 1977. The quality was unreal.
What character! what a beautiful automobile! one of the best designs Ford ever had. My first car was a '56 Vic (had a second one after that I acquired rust-free in California). I was in high school. I had them both.
Beautiful 56 Ford crown.
The 56 Crown Vic is my favorite year of them. Gorgeous!
Friend of mine had the same car back in the early 60's, but is was all deep purple, what a car.; maybe the best looking car Ford made in the 50's.
My Father GOD BLESS HIM always told me about his 1957 FORD that was better then the 1957 CHEVY! NOW I want one!
having owned both, i can say that the 57 Chevy was a much better car. better engine by far. the fords body fell apart, the Chevy held together.
@@commando340 Chevy biased
commando340 how did yours fall apart
This is getting pretty close to a piece of ART only in metal Great upload
I saw my first 56 ford Victoria when I was six years old. It was Love at first sight and I actually prayed that my Dad would buy one. My love never faded.....lol..did Dad buy one ...No , he never did
Beautiful....when Ford knew how to make cars.
Then & '1940' also""
Vicente Fuentes they still do ! I have been a total Ford guy for the past 25 years 5 or 6 Fords in a row never any serious issues! But can’t say that about GM!!
When America knew how to make cars
It's a beauty!
i had a 1956 ford crown victoria in 1962. didn't kno what i had til after i sold it years ago. sure would love to have that beauty back..
I owned a 56 ford fairlane, back in 1971.It was pink and white two tone with the 272 original V8 engine with the 3 speed manual on the column.I feel awful also for letting that car go

Nice build. The old Cown Victoria looks way more collectable and solid than the ones in the early 2000s
really great video. my father owned one of these with the thunderbird engine. sorry to say but he flip it. same color and interior. he really loved that car. so did we.
Those were nice cars back in the day and still are. Nice video.
Had a 55 Crown Vic .. Beautiful car. White over baby blue. Duals sweet sounding ride with glass packs. That was 40 years ago. Be worth 3/4 times more now.
Beautiful car love the color.❤
In my opinion the prettiest Ford ever made , great video .
That is Realy bueatiful😊
Cream puff! I love the three on a tree.
Now that's what I call an automobile! Very nice, that's really a sweet ride! 👍
They don't make them like this anymore, just beautiful

No. E. Sales manager said two tone those cars. Then sales took off ,how Lee Iaccoca got his start at Ford - Mopar

I sure do recognize the sound of that starter!! I wish I still had my coral and white '56 Vicky!!
Yep , and thats an original color . I remember it . Turquoise . They had original pink and black ones too . Most of them were two tones .
Really nice. Standard three-speed transmission with column shift. Wouldn't this model have been produced mainly with an automatic?
The only way it could possibly look any better Is if I was driving it home
Beautiful.
My color...glad there not a continental kit on this one ..they just never suited me..
Beautiful

My father had a 58 Impala first year Impala. I loved that car. White on blue
My great grandfather has this exact color car with all original pieces on it
They sell as fast as they put. Them up ❤❤❤❤
About 1970 I almost bought it's twin with a 410 Edsel 3spd overdrive, $850.00 excellent condition then
Tinted plixiglass half top.
These are sharp looking Ford's.
I just love sound of solid lifter Y block with steel packed mufflers. Sound IMO only beat by flathead V8 with same mufflers.
nice that the after market gauges are working, but wondering why you go to all that trouble to get that car looking so beautiful and not get the original gauges working, specifically the temperature gauge and the gen light
just please don't make me clean those wire rims
did that a lot as a kid.
I love the car but i thought ford always had blue paint on their engine blocks.....correct me if i'm wrong thanks
I bought a 56 ford vic brand new, The engine was a red-orange color, They were nice looking cars but Ford produced many lemons back then. They didn't hold up as good as a chevy.
I believe you're right about the engine block I thought that looks strange 1st time I seen it
It’s a 10 !
Incomparable línea y combinación de colores, cromados y mecánica Ford

This Ford Victoria vehicle has a price, and if it is available
Beautiful car! I think it would look a lot better without the fender skirts!
56 amounts to a greatly enhanced 55, always wanted one. Probably need more than $150 these days .

very rare manual trans for this model
Joseph Solimando either the original owner dug 0-60 or just didn’t trust automatic transmissions.
