A friend of my dad's purchased a new one like this back in the day, when they first appeared on the scene. I was about 7 years-old, but I still remember how sharp that Ford was!! TALK ABOUT A CLASSIC!!!
What was the price of this one nick
Nick trying so hard to find anything wrong with ‘ this one ‘. Best part of this one is you’ll not find one 10mm ha ha ha .
That’s a beauty Nick but like a lot of other commenters I’d like to know how much this sold for if you don’t mind telling us.
Even though you said it sold I still would like to know what you are asking for it.
Gorgeous Ford. Why haven't we seen the video for the 1940 Ford????
Just out of curiosity, how much?
How much did it go for??
a true beauty. I was 6 years old and found it parked in our street and couldn't take my eyes off it.
Nick this was an amazing find I'm sure it went quickly...
Hello, Vicky!!! 😍
What a beautiful first year Crown Vic and understandable as to why it sold so fast! 👍😎
I had a 55 Fairlaine/Vic non-Crown 2-door when I was 22. 272 V8. I loved my Vicky!
The 'Victoria' moniker designated a 'pillarless' (hardtop) coupe or sedan. This “Crown Vic,” dressed out in Fiesta Red over Colonial White, carried a factory base price of just $2,337 with a six-cylinder engine, and $2,438 with a V-8.
That's back then
@@josephwatson2711 It sure as hell ain't now!!
$2,500 in 1955 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $28,711.66 today, an increase of $26,211.66 over 68 years. The dollar had an average inflation rate of 3.65% per year between 1955 and today, producing a cumulative price increase of 1,048.47%.
This means that today's prices are 11.48 times as high as average prices since 1955, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics consumer price index. A dollar today only buys 8.707% of what it could buy back then.
Not technically a Crown Victoria because this is actually a Fairline and long predates the Panther platform, but beautiful oldie and lucky owner who got it.
It actually says crown Victoria on the door in chrome.
The original Crown Vic. Panther Platform 😂

Love the 292 motor, First one I've seen without the crossover pipe on it.
dual exhaust thus illuminates the crossover
Name the price!
Use to own 2. 1 1955 coral& white 2nd 1956 black & white that was in the 60s & a true crown Victoria has stainless across the top
Beautiful. One of my dream cars. Tell whoever bought it I will take it as a birthday gift. Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣

Gorgeous old girl inside and out. Don't sweat the small stuff. Easy fixes. Love Maple Motor's.
MADE IN THE U S A BY REAL AMERICANS, NOTHING ON THIS CAR SAYS MADE IN TAIWAN AND THAT'S WHY IT'S STILL GOING

Oh! The PAIN!
-------------
Psst! Nick you gave it away lol!
Note to everybody else that reads this--->
Every car, truck, and semi tractor in the known Galaxy was, and is, to this very day, equipped with Armstrong Steering (tm)
{EXCEPT ELECTRIC STEERING}
Power Assist always being an option throughout ALL of the available units from EVERY builder.
Better to learn with straight Armstrong Steering early on and then Power Assist later as you progress with experience.
When you inevitably lose the power assist, (and you will) you are immediately immersed in your prior expertise with Armstrong.
You WILL NOT experience safety issues because or your experience.
______________
Truth: If a non power assist unit is available---BUY IT.
NOW.
Learn the proper utilization for safety purposes.
Plus it's more fun being grounded to the initial engineering in your learning curve.
---------------
Just a head's up to kids looking at vintage cars/trucks.
Be BOLD and START with original brakes/steering/fuel/spark/cooling units to gain experience.
Cheers!
it has a cruise o matic transmission,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Very nice !
Cool.
Nice car
OMG 💙💙💙💙💙💙
You know after 68 years she might have a couple flaws in her make up, that’s ok you don’t have to worry about being the first to put a scratch on her ha ha ha
If it’s sold why make a video?
Nick usually makes the test-drive videos AHEAD of time, like Thursday or Friday BEFORE the inventory list updates on Monday. That being said, 10-20% of the NEW inventory sells BEFORE it is even listed on the website on Mondays. Nick likes to post the video for us to see if it's already made, EVEN if the vehicle is already sold, but he always notes "SOLD FAST" in the title. As an example of this, there is a Blue '72ish Chevelle that's in the background on the lot in this video, it NEVER made it to the website, and so it must have been ALREADY sold. Cheers to Nick and the crew!!
@@georgegbalzano9239 ok. Yeah I figured it was something like that. I plan on coming down from Wisconsin to buy something from you in the early spring/summer.
Thank you
yes the blue chevelle was goin on the site today too, local guy was here as soon as we opened and bought it. That being said I made the video last friday. You will be able to see it later this week to show previous inventory
