      In 2011 I thought to use both of them, as far as I have used 3dsmax since 2003 (started from 3dsmax 4.0 by discreet).
      After half of year in Blender I discovered, that I actually don't have a reason to launch 3dsmax. This was concerning my job (civil architect) and my hobby (baroque modeling)
      Then I just forgot to install 3dsmax at my new PC later, when I changed hardware.
      That's how it was.

    • @1DInciner
      @1DInciner  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +rezki lakhzoum thank you!
      Unfortunately, no)
      Zbrush is awesome in highpoly organic sculpting and detailing, but it's pretty poor in precise quad modeling and effectivepoly topology sketching.
      So, Zbrush is used for sketching shapes, not for sketching topology.

    • @douka3993
      @douka3993 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +1D_Inc in this case topology doesn't matter much (at least i don't think so ;)) cuz if it's an asset for game then you have to retopo it anyway, and if it's for film or production who cares cuz it's not gonna animate, and trust me i've seen assets were done in zbrush and they looook so crisp, i don't know man maybe i'm crazy or i'm just being an asshole, i really really like your work and more vids pls!!!

    • @1DInciner
      @1DInciner  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +rezki lakhzoum well, that's depends on goal.
      My goal was to make a model, that contains 100% quads with minimum vertex count, to have ability to place lot's of them and to use them without textures by using only free software.
      That was pretty high bar, but, I got it this one in 3-5 hours. skfb.ly/LHUZ
      Other requirements - for sure, other software)

    • @1DInciner
      @1DInciner  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Required addons were developed by my demand and under my financial support.
      Hovewer they are free and already built-in Blender for a couple of years, so I actually can't have Blender downloaded /installed without them.
      Sorry.

    Спасибо за (каждое) новое видео. Ты не используешь Retopoflow от CGCookie? (он бесплатный github.com/CGCookie/retopoflow). Что думаешь о нём?
    Больше привык к своим настройкам и инструментам и находишь их более удобными для ретопо барокко элементов? Можно узнать, что за аддон Mir и Tissu (не нашел, а вот твой 1D_Script и SV Sverchok нагуглил).
    Спасибо за ответы.

      +Stobenski R. всегда пожалуйста!
      Retopoflow не использую, хотя покупал его три раза, когда он ещё назывался contour tools - чтобы поддержать разработку инструмента. Он хорош для более линейных/плавных поверхностей.

    Great modelling. But 3D developers should find a new way to create models. This is too long process and complicated. Quite primitive. Extrude and scale and move vertices and edges and so on...
    Imagine using a pen tablet or VR controllers and drawing instead of growing vertices step by step.

      Loop tools - Gstretch (with no Greace pen on object)
      also can be 1D_Scripts - spread loop
