I just put together an X pro Templar 250. Some caveat if you’re going to put on a Nibbi carburetor buy some extra fuel line and American made stainless steel hose clamps and run your fuel line off of your Nibbi before you install it. It will save you an amount of time and frustration that’s worth every penny for the extra fuel line. I also put a navy ignition and an NGK iridium spark plug on the bike. Do this while it’s all tore down it’s very simple. when you start adding parts everything becomes more and more complex and harder to get to. With the spark plug chances are you never ever going to have to change it. If you are even think of changing the gear ratio which I did it’s so much nicer to do it on an absolutely clean bike and putting a high-quality chain on while you’re doing this I would recommend. For the rubber parts such as the bodywork A little bit of clear Vaseline as well as on the fairing bolts as well. It will keep your rubber from deteriorating just a little bit longer. If you do buy a chain do yourself a favor buy a chain breaking tool learn how to rivet the chain on and don’t use the master link type that can uncouple. Just some thoughts I tend to keep my stuff and take care of it for a long time. I hope this helps
Haha, this is nuts! You have way more patience than I would. Glad you were able to get it working, it does look awfully fun. But also thanks for reminding us why we pay the higher price for Honda quality control.
Just a lil tip here for anyone interested! When you're removing the Factory Warning Stickers, if you either don't have a heat gun or some of the sticky residue gets left behind from peeling it, you can use a little bit of WD-40 to QUICKLY wipe it away with a cloth. Just be sure to thoroughly clean the area afterwards so there's no WD-40 left behind.
I bought a Lifan GY 5 200cc dualsport from a local dealer in 2006. 1650 OTD. It is now 2024 and I will be riding it as I have every summer since 2006. Bike has needed tires, batteries, oil changes and valve adjustments. Has been a very good bike.
Pretty sure you could drop that 150 and put a Lifan 230 direct bolt in on that thing. Looks like the same exact engine, just different bore. They're all basically copies of an old honda engine.
Another person I watch did that with his RPS Condor. He removed the 150 and put a "250" (230) out of a Hawk 250 into it. There was minor modification needed but it fit in to place after.
I've had extensive dealings with Texas-based dealers who sell these X-pro bikes, most of whom are Mexican. Unfortunately, their assembly quality leaves much to be desired, and interacting with them can be extremely frustrating. They often refuse to honor agreements regarding damage incurred during shipment-don't expect much help there. It's also important to note that X-pro is a Walmart brand, so it's crucial to thoroughly inspect the bike. Ensure that all bolts are properly tightened. While the engines are generally decent, the rest of the bike is of very low quality. Additionally, avoid using the chain that comes with it, as it can cause significant damage. I recommend replacing the chain and changing the oil as soon as you receive the bike.
I would highly suggest putting bearing grease on the axle and swing arm bolts as they can rust a little bit when they get wet and be a pain to get back out. Had to do that on both my Grom and my dads

I bet that lil 250 six speed you can order from china would make that bike a ripper
Woud ypu recommend this for a 18 mile each way daily commute? Once gone over will it be reliable
I'd buy a grom for daily commute that long
Are Honda parts interchangeable with that brand?if they are it's a steal.

And I'm selling mine for 1300 it has 3 Mi on it it had a problem with the petcock valve we replace that it had a problem with the ignition I ordered one I don't know if it fits the front and the headlight has been taken off after put that back on but first I'd rather sell it at is for $1,300 and let y'all figure out what's wrong and you would still win cuz this is a 1700 bike with shipping $2,000 is what I paid for it

I would have tossed that Chinese battery from the get go,,that one is going to give you issues and very soon. I would go to the Honda dealership and get a Grom battery, fork out the extra 100 bux
Put a Tusk LiFe from a XR650L in mine.
American made vehicles are the same way these days unfortunately… “just thrown together”
And at Top Prices 😢
Keep up the good work 👍.
Did you get a bill of sale for the bike to be able to get tags for it?
You get a Certificate of Origin and yes, you are able to get it fully street legal.
What about replacement parts?
At&t 10x better then T-Mobile tho I have nothing but issues with them…
If you shop the Internet not only will you find the bike cheaper but you’ll save $100 on having it shipped.
For a starter bike would this work for someone who is 6'2" 250lbs?
Buy two and weld them together as a quad bike.

What is the brand electric Rachet you are using
Need to buy a old Toyota pickup and make content with it
What was the price of the bike overall..
Do the XP0 250 sport bike next
I get that they are china bikes... And you can not expect a TON out of them.. However these bikes have been existing for YEARS now with these odd little issues like this.. Its really a bummer that 4/5/6 years later stuff like this is still happening with them. Not a HUGE deal... but a major inconvenience that should be easily avoidable.
Weird...I don't seem to be able to find ANY motorcycles on amazon anymore. I just got a z125 anyway to fart around on but it seems to be limiting my searches for accessories too. Weird.
Looks like searching for motorbike instead of cycle at least brings up some results.
grease the axles and suspension bolts
