  • Stub and Stoney are showing off 3 different types of machinery in this video. They finish preparing the garden, and Leonard uses them to haul out a little manure too.

Great video! Looked like Grandma got some help from the kids, this day. Big smiles for Momma! Loading an old manure spreader by hand was hard work, unloading that same spreader with a broken bed chain was even harder.

Such beautiful horses, I got to smile all through the video but even more when the horses trotted out of the barn to stretch their legs and have a good roll, that tells me they are very happy and contented, God Bless you and your entire family, stay safe with this nasty virus going around.

Wow!! such great mannered horses. They are so smart, respond to every thing you say and a wee tap of the lines and I would say they have done it so many times
they just remember and do it on their own. Big memories of 70 years ago a young kid on the farm. please make more when you have time thanks.

This is what freedom is all about. Some folks think freedom is owning many guns and shooting whatever and wherever you want. But real freedom lies in ownership of and and working the land. I don't say we should farm with horses only anymore but having citizens out on the land and owning the land is what would make a stronger nation as far as work ethic and character are concerned. Of course money and profitability is important too but character and dignity should come first. Besides, in a FREE and HONEST society small to medium sized farms would thrive. But as it is the government makes sure that farms get larger by subsidizing them disproportionately when in reality large farms need less subsidizing. Look at those children learning the most important ethic in today's world. Honesty and a good work ethic....Kudos to Trinity Dairy for the great example. As of now the US small to medium sized farm is at a great disadvantage because of poor leadership at the government level and unfair market availability and access. The tax structure needs to change so as to incentivize MORE folks to live, own and work the land, not less.

    • @woodsgremlin9995

Not much anymore. I'm getting old, the horses are getting old and the kids aren't interested. There aren't any shows or pulls in the area anymore so there's no reason to keep them in shape over the summer. They spend most days in the summer in the barn away from the flies and out of the sun.

    • @trinitydairy

All of our kids love the horses, and Alan and I had talked about getting a team, but Jordan, our 5 year old, is crazy allergic to horses, so having them around would make him miserable. It's a bummer because he loves them.
