Ecosport's Owner Reaction After Ford India Leaving News || Should I sell Ford Ecosport ?

- US car giant Ford is to stop making cars in India and shut down both of its plants in the country, according to a company statement.
Ford said it would close the plants in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu states by the second quarter of 2022 but it would continue to make car engines for export.
The company is the latest big car company to leave India in recent years.
The company in its statement mentioned that the decision was taken after exploring the every possible option to survive these difficult times. The options that were considered were partnerships, platform sharing, contract manufacturing with other OEMs, and the possibility of selling its manufacturing plants, which is still under consideration. In this bid, Ford approached Indian car market Mahindra and Mahindra to ink a deal for producing cars, however, much progresses was not made on that deal. If Ford India and domestic carmaker Mahindra and Mahindra had signed a deal and started a joint venture partnership, it would have given a new lease of life to Ford Motors as it could continue producing cars at a lower cost than its present costing but would cease its independent operations.
I had 2016 ecosport titanium Diesel and I have again bought same model in 2020 Feb.. I m proud owner of ford and I will keep this car atleast for 10 years or more.. I would buy electric car in near future once some good options will available but I willl not sell my ecosport.

Also toyatas safety is a myth. Toyota is safe on gcc but Indian Toyota is not as safe as international Toyota
@@sabarinathps2222 agreed. Volkswagen is highly overpriced in india. Skoda has very high maintenance cost , parts are costly. Ford gave us international quality at price cheaper than Volkswagen and other Japanese good quality car makers. Suzuki is more an indian than Japanese

People of India is blind that leaving this car they buy Kia, maruti car which are not at all comparable with it.Ecosport itself shows its robustness and premium ness which are hardly available in any of the car in the same segment.In facr Ford did not compromise with the quality even keeping the cost comparable with other car for which it had to suffer loss by selling that much of car.
I am the owner of Eco sport for past 5 years, every second I am satisfied with its performance... feeling sad now after heard the bad news from Ford... It's wrong decision...

I am proud ford owner from last 4 yrs and i will keep and drive my car for next 4 yrs for the following reason.
1) Good builtup quality with excellent ride quality& handling ,very smooth engine.
2) superb suspension and ABS .
3) very rare breakdown , i drove my car 30k km & have'nt face any breakdown yet.
4) In future we will not get such good quality of car.
I hope in future ford will takecare of their existing customer. with sparepart and service.

Its not just ford Has left India. But in normal market condition this price is higher.60/70 thousands should be lesser than it. Now in such scenario its customers call, for going that deal. Best of luck
