I will NEVER understand why ramps don't have pins to hold them in place so they wont slip when loading a vehicle into a truck ...
Which is weird, because our old bariatric ambulances (which I was always horrified to have to use as a paramedic, as they were so demeaning) had them, the pins were mounted on the rear of the ambulance, lay out the ramp (and the humiliating part) wheel your patient up on the gurney, and attach it to a winch, and then winch them up and into the ambulance. So why not for car transport?
Because they didn't think anyone was dumb enough to stop mid ramp and then nail the throttle...
There might be pins and they just didn't bother to use them. Until the guy hit the gas too hard to get going again, he was doing OK.
What makes this more enjoyable to watch is knowing everyone was just trying to show off.
These vids are so god damn fun to watch!
Can we stop for a minute and appreciate what a legend the guy in the first video was, taking his time to capture the moment and then speaking the most anaemic 'wow' ever?
Mustangs: the official car for driving beyond your limit.
American owners can learn from that German Shelby driver, he actually uses something that the rest don't know how to - a break pedal
Mustangs and break pedals are like BMWs and turn signals
may be brake pedal at that low of speed but not at a higher speed, just let off the gas is simple as that!!
Well at least you spelled 'pedal' correctly. (Not 'peddle' or 'petal'.)
Anyoone remember the SST's from the 70's? you pull the ripcord and when the car crashed it would pop off the doors, hood and trunk. Some of these reminded me of that.
Ford build quality takes care of that
Every mustang is possessed by a vengeful spirt that hates crowds of people
